Fritz’s Restaurant

This place has a great friendly atmosphere. Service was great and the waitress was quite fun and paid attention to our service. I got a chicken wrap which was really delicious it came with what looked like homemade french fries. I would definitely eat here again if passing through this town. The popular item in the restaurant seem to be the buffet which was $ 11.99 but we didn’t want to eat that much food which is why we just ordered a meal.
The person I was with enjoyed his sandwich too and the servings were large enough where we each took half of our sandwich home.

Had a great family dinner here on Saturday. Reserved several tables for 7 adults and 6 children. The food was excellent. Most of us had the buffet which was very good, especially their fish, breaded and cooked to perfection. Chicken was moist and tender and a nice variety of other items made this a well rounded buffet. They even had Apple Cobbler for dessert which was our favorite.
The only thing was ordering the kids pancakes too longer than we had anticipated. But once the food arrived, the kids (normally fussy eaters) went to town and they loved the food.
They ran out of prime rib, and only had one size steak to offer as a substitute. It was good but they really need to watch their inventory to have Prime Rib on hand since it it only offered on Saturday and we arrived at 5pm. Consider offering a free item like a dessert for customers in the future when you are out of a featured menu item (Many restaurants do).

Had the buffet. Everything was bone dry. At less I had icetea to help wash it down, but then the icetea was turning stale as well. Food must been under the heat lamps for hours. I went do to how reviews read for the place. Sadly in my opinion… They was not anything to right home about.

The staff and atmosphere are great here. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. This is a long running family business that ensures you are comfortable and taken care of.
The food is very good. The prices are very reasonable.
I had the pancakes and breakfast buffet. All were filling and tasty.

Terrible food. Looked like everything was bought at the local grocery store and set out in the buffet for the last week or so. Luck warm, no floor and apparently no air conditioning. Do yourself a favor and just starve instead.

I’ve eaten at Fritz’s for about the last 40 years and I’ve never had a bad meal there. Fritz’s is actually split down the middle, the bar part is on the North side of the building and the restaurant is the South half. Many of the regulars that eat at Fritz’s enjoy talking politics at bar and the all the TVs have Faux/​Fox (FAKE) news on them. If you think Faux (fox) is «fair and balanced» eat in the bar. If you want to enjoy a nice meal in peace request to eat on the restaurant side. Fritz’s serves great breakfasts but, normally the restaurant side is closed in the morning so you either have the choice of hearing LOUD people sputtering, ranting, YELLING at the TV, and discussing how liberals are evil, OR drive to Vassar and eat at a restaurant there. Karr’s Kafe (Half Way Truck Stop Diner) serve great breakfasts.

We’ve had a few business meetings here and I love the food and service. I ordered the farmers omelet and it was wonderful. It was quiet enough to get business done. We visited on a Monday evening, so it might be busier on the weekends.
I’d definitely take my family here. We will visit again soon.

Way better chicken than anything in Frankenmuth! Good place for breakfast and buffet/​salad bar at night.

I loved this place. Just happened across it while on a trip up north. I had the Bacon Burger and it tasted great. My gf had some turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes and all were excellent. We even bought two of their mugs. Service was pretty good, but the food was what made this place in my opinion.
