This grocery is amazing. The food is diverse, fresh, and expertly prepared. It is worthy of its namesake restaurant. The specials change regularly, and we pick up food here a lot after work. Well done!

I’m giving this place five stars for the house made desserts. The hubs and I split the apple pie cheesecake and Pumpkin cheesecake. The crust of the pumpkin cheesecake has small pieces of diced sugared ginger that gave it a nice kick. The flavors and textures were spot on. I cannot wait to swing by there after work to try other items. This place is truly worthy of five stars, and I hope RVA gives it the love it deserves!

I love this place. It’s like a boutique grocery store plus café. I discovered it while waiting for my reservations at Stella restaurant. It’s just across the street from it. Found my childhood favorite chocolates which I can’t find in normal stores; Kinder and Cadbury flake — yum yum. Will definitely be going there again. They have amazing stuff. Can’t wait to try out more things.

Still in its infancy, Stella’s Grocery is shaping up to be a local favorite. As mini-groceries begin to pop up around Richmond, we’re gaining better access to local produce. However, these shops only meet a small set of our culinary needs, and this fact is not lost on the S.G. team. Yes, they carry local goods, but also an array of the basic(albeit higher end) staples, and a plethora of prepared items, highlighting sides and main dishes straight from the Stella’s menu. Add on a coffee bar, ice cream bar and an openness to suggestions, and Stella’s Grocery has the potential to best represent this niche market.
