We stayed here in July for a friend’s wedding and I was so glad! The inn is owned by husband and wife Frank and Joyce, who were so welcoming and accommodating. Frank took the time to make sure we knew how to get to the wedding venue, even giving us a map to show us the way. There were only 2 other couples there while we were there, but the homey feel of the inn made me comfortable enough to make friends with all the other guests. And Frank’s homemade breakfast! Yummm. My husband decided to go on a hike up Camel’s Hump early in the morning, so he missed the seated breakfast. But Frank was so sweet, he made up a boxed breakfast for him to take on the run. What a thoughtful host. The inn is on the small side, with maybe 5 – 6 guest rooms. I suspect that noisy guests could make a stay not so pleasant, since it seems like you’d be able to hear just about everything in the house. But we didn’t have any problems with noise ourselves, and hopefully we didn’t disturb anyone when we came in late after the wedding! I love that we stayed here instead of at a big hotel. We had all the conveniences we needed and a much more personal feel. I would definitely come back!

Every single hotel and motel in Burlington were completely booked up… A fortunate blunder that lead us here. It’s a quaint Victorian home with queen beds and private baths. It’s exceptionally clean(something I’m very particular about), from the bedding to towels and the shower. It’s an easy 12 minute drive from Burlington, providing access to urban zen without relinquishing the small town stay. In the morning, the warm bacon scent will gently beckon you into a wakeful state. Let your nose lead the way to a delicious meal. The breakfast is served with bacon and sausage from the local smokehouse(their neighbor across the street) that will make a vegan eat meat. They also make their own jams. The owners are hospitable and kind. All in all, this is a place you want to stay.

We just spent the most glorious 2 days at this Inn. Frank was the PERFECT host and we were taken great care of! He gave us great suggestions on things to do and places to eat! I slept the best I have in years and woke up to the smell of bacon! The breakfast was amazing as well! Go and stay at this Inn!
