This is less of an indictment against Rack Room and more against a certain brand of shoe they sell. Although, a store is only as good as the products it carries.
Near the end of the summer, or the beginning of last fall, I purchased a pair of Port by Highland Creek Comfort shoes. It’s now the end of February and the soles are already falling off. I’ve used shoe goo to try and repair them and they’re still falling apart. I came to work this morning and noticed half of the sole is disconnected from the shoe. Cheap products made in China, no longevity. Sounds like a metaphor for the larger American economy. Spend more than the $ 50 and get something worth wearing.

I was disapointed when I went to this store today, they didnt have the size I was looking for, but on the way out I walked into a display that had a shoe I fell in love with. So that made up for it. The sale was a Buy one get one 50% off so I shared that with my niece and we both got a very cute bootie type boot.
I love a surprise shoe find!
