Quilter’s Cottage

Quilter’s Cottage has got to be one of the best — if not THE best — quilt shops in the Houston metro area. It’s off the beaten path, but well worth the trip!
Housed in two old cottages that have been joined together with a «hallway» of sorts, I can’t imagine not finding exactly what you’re looking for here, whether it’s Thimbleberries, Orientals, Batiks, Redwork/​Blackwork/​Bluework fabs … blenders, tone-​on-​tones, you name it, this store has it.
I love that EVERY time I walk in the door I’m greeted like a long-​lost friend. I’ve not taken any classes here, but have heard from others that they’re very good.
The selection of fabrics, notions, tools, etc. compliment the extensive fabric availability, and I especially appreciate that they cluster fabrics/​patterns/​tools near the samples for those items. Great POS execution here!
If you’re a quilter, beginner to novice, you owe yourself a trip to Richmond to visit Quilter’s Cottage. I guarantee you’ll be delighted!
