Papa Joe’s Payless Liquors

Papa Joe’s has the market cornered on Liquor stores in Richmond, and for a good reason! Their stores are placed strategically throughout the city for easy access at any time, their selection is much larger than one would expect looking from the outside, and the pricing is average if not below average on much of the available selection!
Keep an eye out for sales that change often, as there are many manufactuers’ sales that involve freebies!!!

Excellent liquor store! I checked this place out on my last trip to Richmond, and it was as great as my brother said it was. It may possibly be the best selection you’ll find of any liquor stores in town, and the guys working the place that night didn’t mind that we made a last-​minute run to briefly check the place out. (which is an unfortunate slight negative, since I recall they close around 10 – 10:30pm)
Decent selection of liquor (regardless if you’re looking for wine, hard liquor, or any types of beer), and pretty good prices to boot. Cigarette prices and selection were also bueno! They have at least 1 – 2 other locations in town, too. And all this applies, except if you run by here on a Sunday and find yourself crossing the state line, thanks to the fact Indiana law forces this place to be cerrado. (closed)
