This is a fabulous area of sun and relaxation that I overheard one state«Wow… I never knew this existed. it’s like a boardwalk with families, walkers, bikers, runners, ships sailing… pretty cool I’m here». no joke. One of my go-to sun spots, a bathroom nearby, parking a breeze, and Assemble about 200 yards away from the turnaround at the end of Hall. As fab as it gets. And please don’t forget the panoramic stunning views.

Marin County attorney at law, Mary Alice Stearns. This attorney on today help the opposing Marin County DA, in my 18– year old son record Sealing hearing. Mary Stearns ast the DA, with undoing a judge order, which would have helped my son. She also missed filing legal paper on my son’s behalf. She missed a very important court appointed. She didn’t listen to her clients wish. Words cannot express how disappointed, I’m with Mary Alice Stearns. I would never in life recommend, her as a attorney. She should be disbarred. Please help us

This park is yet another place with great views in an area that isn’t in the news much except for police-related activity. Located next to the Craneway Pavilion along the water with views of the East Bay, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate, as well as being near the Marina Bay residential community, this park is somewhat of a rarity in the Bay Area. Named after a local environmental activist and preservationist Lucretia Edwards, this park is park of the Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park, where Edwards helped ensure that the area where industrial buildings once made vehicles to win World War II became a public access park space for generations to come. In addition to being near local Richmond Shipyards, there are shipworkers’ bootprints with plaques set in the sidewalks and walls that point visitors to other Bay Area shipyards as well. Lucretia Edwards Shoreline Park is a small park with much history and scenic views for the whole family. If you’re ever in the area for any reason, consider having your children, loved ones, or just eating your lunch in the area, as this park has views & scenery that few parks in the Bay Area can provide. To get to this park, take the Harbour Way South exit along I-580, you drive all the way down Harbour Way South towards the bay, take a left on Hall Way, then a right on Marina Way South.

So I discovered & moved into what must be the best kept secret, hidden-gem-of-a-neighborhood in the entire Bay Area. I live in Richmond. Yes, the Richmond with the Iron Triangle & where the police department uses ShotSpotter technology. Yes, that Richmond. But situated in a narrow sliver of land South of I-580& North of the waters of the San Francisco Bay is a residential community known loosely as Marina Bay. Forget the images of gangs, drug dealers & shootings that customarily spring to mind when Richmond is mentioned. There’s none of that here. In fact, on any given day, the harbor views here rival any you’ll find in Sausalito. & there are parks, lots of parks. To be exact, there are 5 waterfront parks within a few minutes’ walk from my front door. How many other neighborhoods can boast that? Lucretia Edwards Shoreline Park is 1 of those parks. In a way, this park is the mother of all Richmond waterfront parks. Lucretia Edwards was a reputed conservationist whose efforts led to the conversion of miles of Richmond’s formerly industrial shoreline into public access park space. Named in her honor, Lucretia Edwards Shoreline Park is also a part of the Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park. Lucretia Edwards Shoreline Park is located at the Southern tip of land on the Western edge of the Marina Bay Yacht Harbor across from Barbara & Jay Vincent Park. It is also next to the old Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant which now houses the Craneway Pavilion. Art & installations on display in the park commemorate contributions to the war effort made by Bay Area shipyards during World War II. Though it’s a small park, there’s plenty of nearby parking & clean restroom facilities are available. It’s also always well-maintained with tasteful & manicured landscaping. Good weather days here afford a striking panorama of the Berkeley Hills, nearby Brooks Island, the Bay Bridge & the San Francisco skyline. Lucretia Edwards Shoreline Park is a beautiful little park, near other beautiful little parks & surrounded by beautiful Bay views. Lucretia Edwards Shoreline Park is wonderful little park dedicated to the hard work of 1 woman to save beautiful spaces in the Bay Area & to the hard work of Bay Area shipyard workers during World War II. Yes it’s in Richmond. But once you’re out here, you realize it’s not the Richmond you thought it would be.
