I bought a starter shirt for $ 175.00 and also gave them away as gifts to my sales team. I was very disappointed how much it shrinked in the arms. 3 inches? When I called customer service, I was told that the shirts were meant to air dry? Who does that anymore??? She went on to say that the dry cleaners ruined the shirt. She offered NO help other then sending me a 15% percent discount on my next purchase? Well safe to say there will never be another purchase and I will tell everyone I know never to purchase a shirt from Ledbury. Wonder why I purchase from Nordstrom. They would have apologized taken the shirt back and found me a new one. You lost a ton of business…

This used to be a 5 star brand. Great shirts, great service, and amazing customer service. All of this changed in the last year or so. The shirts are still great quality(albeit too expensive at retail price), but their customer service is now completely terrible. If you ever have a problem with their products, be ready to be talked down to by some preppy young adults who always try to justify that they are right and you’re wrong. This brand went downhill and I hope they can change back to the way they were in the past.

Worked with Tyler on a couple sweaters I purchased. Informed, thoughtful and up sold — which I think is just fine — they are there to sell. Great guy, great products. A bit small shop, but high quality. Definitely recommend — Tyler was really good.

Ledbury customer service is pretty awful. I bought a couple of shirts from them in the past couple months and paid to get the sleeves shortened by an 1in. I thought the sleeves on the slim fit shirt were pretty baggy, so I took two shirts to my tailor. For one, she said it was baggy because the sleeves were too long. Turns out one shirt never altered, despite Ledbury charging me for the sleeve shortening. Since I was at the tailors and the shirt was already pinned, I asked my tailor to alter the shirt. I asked Ledbury for a refund of the tailoring fee, and they said that(1) the 60 day return period has ended and(2) without proof, they will to refund the tailoring fees. WIth Ledbury, the customer is never right. So different from Bonobos and other web-only retailers who go head over heels to provide great customer service.

The magic of Ledbury is the design. They do a really nice collar and their pattern choices are great. The downfall of Ledbury is that they are still figuring out quality control. Each of my shirts has lost a couple inches in the sleeve length when dry cleaned. They wear through. Great shirt for a few months, then finds its way to the back of the closet. You can buy a comparable shirt from other retailers for a fraction of the cost that will probably last you twice as long.

Of course — in typical Ledbury fashion — Molly has not contacted me directly. More song and dance. I am also disappointed that my review has been moved to the unacceptable section. Makes me concerned about Unilocal’s integrity. Remember, I know the industry and love beautiful shirts — apologies to Jay Gatsby. Update: I did finally have an opportunity to discuss my experience with Molly. She was gracious and did what the co. should have done in the first place — she replaced the shirt with one of my choice. It would appear that her appearance on the scene is an improved approach to customer service by Ledbury. The new shirt is a vast improvement as well, so I am hopeful that Ledbury continues to get better.

These are my favorite shirts– they feel solidly constructed and offer a variety of tasteful fabric patterns. I prefer the slim-fit Alden collar shirts over other off the rack brand I’ve purchased, as it is slimmer than a typical«slim fit»(slimmer than Suit Supply«Slim Fit» but not quite as slim as Thomas Pink«Super Slim Fit»). So far, I haven’t had issues with the shirts that I have purchased– to be fair I am very careful when laundering them and hang-dry. The website offers relatively accurate representations of the fabric, but loads very slowly. If you live near Richmond I’d advise going to the storefront and finding the size/collar combination that fits you best, then ordering online whenever Ledbury offers discounts.

My past experience with Ledbury is wonderful. The customer rep helps me out a lot in term of finding the right shirt size as well as adjusting the bill right when there was a problem. They also have a good tailor service that you can adjust the length sleeves even you order it online. If someone say this shirt quality is not that great then I wonder where else? If you want to find the shirt from business casual to formal, then this is the right place. Give it a try and you will see, no place like this one. In the package, they also have a little note on how you should take care/preserve in the best condition.

I received what looked like a very nice Ledbury shirt from my sister as a present. It fit well, and I was excited to save it for special occasions. However, when I wore it for the first time on Easter, the shirt ripped vertically next to one of the buttons as I put it on. I didn’t even wear it out of the house. I called Ledbury the next day and was informed that I had mishandled the shirt, that the high quality of the fabric means that the shirt tears easily, and that I should find a tailor wherever I live to fix the shirt. I was offered a discount if I wanted to purchase another shirt, but they assured me that there was nothing they could do for the shirt I own. It was an incredibly disappointing customer service experience, and with so many options for buying high end shirts I wouldn’t recommend purchasing anything from Ledbury. They don’t stand behind their product and aren’t willing to help their customers when problems arise.

Just realized that ledbury is on Unilocal so I figured why not post a review. I’ve never been to the store so I can’t comment on that but I’ve been wearing ledbury for a little over 3 years now and I have to have I love their shirts right now I have just over 20 of their shirts and they have held up very well. In fact I’m still wearing the first one I bought. I’ve called customer service once and the staff was super nice and took care of everything. Honestly these are the perfect shirts IMHO. I’ve spent a lot of time in London and have purchased quite a bit of bespoke clothing and spent too much time and money in savile row Are these shirts bespoke and is it the same as being In London speaking with the tailor no but they are a true value in shirting and very very good quality. Only complaint I’ve ever had has been the collar stays. We all lose them and blame it on the cleaners(hehehehe) it’s not a big deal with the standard shirts but with some of the short run shirting they are a bit different sized. But anytime I’ve called they are happy to get more however it would be nice if they were metal or came with a spare or even it you could easily buy them online with out having to call and blame your cleaner The company is growing so that’s causing some changes ie return policy and you can get them at box stores now. I don’t hold that against them id do the same but it does take away a bit of that feeling you have seeing your colleagues in Thomas Pink and thinking my shirt looks so much better and you have no idea where I’ve gotten it. All and all these shirts are solid and worth every penny

The shirts are costly but well worth it. Their spring sale was amazing, getting 30 – 50 dollars off a lot of great designs. The fit is hit or miss, and very slight variability in sizing matters to me because I’m sort of at the upper limit of fitting a classic fit shirt properly but I am fully cognizant of my build and just the limitations of offering a product that is semi-fitted off the rack. Collars are from the outside in, the second button is slightly lower to offer a more comfortable look, and real mother-of-pearl buttons. Service is exemplary. Everything from purchases and returns and exchanges are handled in the most professional manner and shipping is free, including shipping back if you are not satisfied with what you get, but I like to go down directly and make a separate trip to their storefront in Richmond(from Fairfax… on a Saturday… they’re just that good) and try on a few shirts first or see some of the colors in person . They do have a referral program that works like this: If you us my referral link, you get a store credit for $ 25 immediately and I get a store credit for $ 25 too. I will be happy to send my referral code to you via message or email(I find advertising my own referral link to unsolicited strangers a smidgen tacky) and we can both win. These are shirts that best $ 200 – 300 shirts elsewhere and I get compliments all the time and I do like supporting the local guys out in Richmond.

I now own several Ledbury shirts. They are very well constructed, and fit nicely – as long as you get the slim fit. They feel very luxurious on the skin.(You have to love the mother-of-pearl buttons!) Bottom line: you can wear these shirts to work, or on a date and look at ease in either setting. I also want to point out that Ledbury an American-owned small business – help them out! Here is my referral link to get you $ 25 off:
