one of my favorite places in RVA. I frequent Kindred Spirits for unique jewelry, advice and body products. Afrocentric however, culturally centered, Kindred Spirits has a calming affect on you once you enter. The store owner is personable and remembers your name. I visit every time I am in Richmond. Great places to dine are located near this establishment so why not stop by? Family owned and great, do support them!

I stumbled upon this boutique while browsing Broad Street one day and was immediately greeted by the owner, her mother and her adorable daughter. All were very friendly, making for a neat family-​owned boutique.
Kindred Spirit goal is to «connect the mind, body, and spirit to bring about balance and shared interests that ignite the soul.» The inventory spans cool handmade jewelry, scarves and other accessories, incense, hair oils and other natural body products and herbal teas. They hold natural herbal tea tastings on Saturdays and stay open late when First Fridays take place. It’s a fun store for browsing and the owners are very knowledgeable about the stuff they sell. You never know what you’ll find.
