Hey everyone! If you’re considering moving into the Richmond area, I strongly discourage you from working with Joyner Fine Properties. My experience with them was pretty crappy. Why? Well, here’s why: almost TWOWEEKS ago my roommate and I expressed interest in a location. A day after seeing it, I paid for and submitted an application and my roommate also paid for and submitted her application. However, her application was still«unfinished» because she had not yet paid the extra 50 $ they were charging her because she had a cosigner. Well, last week, she paid it and I was able to get into contact with the realtor who showed me the place named Tanita, she said that they would review our applications on Monday. Well, Monday comes and we didn’t hear from them. So THISMORNING, I called Tanita and left a message. It wasn’t until 5 minutes ago that I finally got in contact with her again BUT only because I called her a second time. Well, UNFORTUNATELY they allowed someone else to get the property because they 1) finished their application process sooner(not really sure how much sooner than us since when I spoke to her on friday, the applicants had not yet done the applications) and 2) could move in sooner(despite the move in date of the location being AUG17 and my move in date being AUG1, can’t get any earlier than that). So yeah, don’t work with them. They’re clearly not reliable

As a potential renter, I had a horrible experience dealing with Joyner Fine Properties. Tanita Bradley was unresponsive, did not keep a commitment, and did not seem to be one iota apologetic for her horrible customer service. I am glad to have found this out on the front end and before I got into a commitment having to deal with them for the year I’d be renting. I will NEVER utilize this company, and I’ve shared my experience with several of my friends and coworkers. I wish I had never wasted my time. Beware dealing with this company/agent!

This review is based on my experience with Tanita Bradley who happens to be the laziest real estate agent on the planet. She doe not return calls/texts/emails, it’s almost impossible to do any business with her and I feel bad for the owner(s). If you are looking for an agent to rent out your place or buy/sell your property find someone else, don’t waste your time/money with her, there are plenty of real estate agents who will actually work for you. I would give her no star if I could.

We used Joyner to rent out our home. They put on a good sales presentation but that is it. Once they get you to sign they provide no service. I found myself actually having to manage my own property even though I had paid Joyner to do so. The representatives we dealt with were Tanita Bradley and Beth Adams. It was like pulling teeth to get Joyner to do anything. We asked to have non-smokers in our home; what did we get: smokers! They did not provide any home checks. During check out multiple damages were found done by the tenant — Joyner did nothing. There are other more reputable companies to manage your property. We trusted Joyner with our home, which is a large investment. They really disappointed us.

Ok the gal that helped us was nice but when we had to change from buying to renting she never spoke to me again. I know they have a rental division but she never gave me another thought. I didn’t appreciate being treated that way and will never contact them again. I don’t know where her main base was but it is not a good rep of the company at all. We did finally buy, we just hit a road block but with the help on REMAX we got a really nice house. Better than we thought. If this gal had just hung in there we would have come back to her when we got our issues straightened up but since she just left me high and dry I left her without a nice commission!
