This local convenience store takes me back to my college days. The food selection isn’t the best, but it is jammed pack with a decent selection of beers.

I’d call this a convenience store more than an actual grocery store, but they sell scratch offs and milk, so they’ve saved my ass on several occasions. Just like any other neighborhood convenience store, they charge an arm and a leg for basics like milk and bread and any of the few fresh veggies they may have. The store is definitely packed with stuff, although last time I was in there it was pretty clean(I had to get ice for my mother in law…) They also sell cigarettes and lottery tickets, which keeps them in a brisk business. The store is literally up the street from my house, but honestly I don’t always go there on principle because they don’t seem to open on time. Twice I ran out of milk for my morning coffee and twice I went to Hermitage Grocery(in my pjs of course) and twice the sign said they’d be open at 7:30am and it was 7:40am and they weren’t open. I can’t stand stuff like that. And I had to go to the 7 – 11, which at that time of the morning is crowded and unpleasant.
