Green Waste Recycle Yard & Millworks

Didn’t actually buy from them. When I inquired about getting a few yards of mulch, they referred me to a vendor closer by who would charge way less for delivery. Appreciate the honest response!

These guys are great. They take trees removed from the urban area and mill them or chip them into reusable products. Eucalyptus trees for example become landscape steps — which I am using as part of a volunteer effort.
Billing and procedures are a bit lax and kind of confused. But their hearts are in the right places!

Our organization was working on a community garden at Exlplore Pep Middle School in East Oakland and we were in desperate need of Mulch for a community service event. Our original plan to acquire the 8 – 12 yards of mulch fell apart on Friday and the event was scheduled for Monday.
After trying a few of the well known landscape companies in the East Bay I was disappointed with the prices they quoted given the fact that we are a small non-​profit and we were working with young people to sustain a community garden.
Upon the reference of a friend I tried Green Waste Recycle Yard and I am very pleased that I did!
They were very friendly and willing to accommodate us in such short notice. They gave us a great price considering we were a non-​profit. The guy I spoke to (sorry can’t remember his name) made sure we were able to get our delivery when we needed it.
Thanks to Green Waste Recycle Yard we were able to have plenty of mulch for our volunteers to add to our fruit tree forest at Burbank Garden.
