Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia

Great selection in this store. Always running specials. The only down side is the location is horrible to get in and out. Also like to only run one register.

To be completely honest, this is the worst Goodwill that I’ve ever been to in terms of selection. The housewares section is so poor that it may as well be nonexistent. The book section is a bunch of cheesy drugstore crap. As far as clothing is concerned, we all come in all different shapes and sizes, but this was a horrible Goodwill for me on the clothing end because you had to wear at least a size 12 to even have a selection worth mentioning. Even still, a much larger proportion of the clothing was pretty good and worn. On the plus side of the whole clothing section, if you wear size 12 – 16 and you need a suit, then you should be set.
The furniture section was barely present also. There were only a couple of items which were particle board or very heavily worn. The only thing that may be decent is the table linen type stuff. As I passed by, it looked like it may have been better than the rest.
In terms of movies, the selection was very small and not much was worth seeing. There seemed to be a decent amount of records to browse, however.
On the positive side, this place has a sale on clothing with a specific color tag almost every day. That’s a great advantage that you don’t find at other Goodwill locations.

This Goodwill is smaller than most of the others in town, and has very little in the way of furniture or housewares. Occassionally, they’ll have a small bookcase or table, and they just have a couple of walls with shelving for dishes and such.
They have a decent amount of clothing, and I did find a pair of designer jeans here for $ 4, but haven’t really had much luck at this location. Of course, what I love to look for is old furniture and home accessories so I don’t come here often.
