I love fancy chocolates and while there are higher end European chocolates that may be better than Godiva, you can always count on these beautifully packaged sweets.
I started a tradition with my mom, who as she aged developed a love of cute stuffed animals. Every Christmas, I would buy her that year’s commemorative Godiva holiday bear which came with a tiny bag or box of chocolate truffles. There were a couple of versions of Godiva bear Santa, a caroler, and a winter bear with a scarf. One year, they even had a Halloween Pumpkin bear so I got her that one too.
When she passed away, one of my best friends sent me a huge box of Godiva and that really touched me. You can never go wrong with a beautiful box of chocolates like these for any occasion.
