Went to Gallmeyer Farms on a weekday morning to pick strawberries; with all the cool weather and rain, we weren’t too sure how many strawberries they would have but there were plenty! There were a few other groups there as well but plenty of room for everyone. Before you go, you should know that it is a totally different location than the pumpkin patch — about 15 minutes apart. 3622 Darbytown Ct Henrico VA is the address for the strawberry patch. They have a little playground and offer a free hayride around the farm(just for fun; you can easily walk to the patch). The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also had three varieties of their own raw honey for around $ 10/lb. And they take credit cards, so that’s a plus!

I usually go to Gallmeyer Farms to look for pumpkins at their pumpkin patch. They have an assortment of pumpkins for customers to select. The staff also offer hayrides around Gallmeyer property. It’s a fun thing to do with your family. Gallmeyer Farms isn’t far from Downtown Richmond. There is plenty of parking for customers. Staff is friendly and professional. Gallmeyer Farms is a good place to go if you want pumpkins for the holidays.
