They do not respect the customers time. I had an appointment scheduled. At arrival about 5 to 10 minutes prior to the appointment time I learned to have to wait more than an hour to be seen. Needless to say, I left and found another Optometrist who had the courtesy to see me on time. My glasses had been bought not at Four Eyes.

Finally decided to get a pair of glasses that I could actually read with and see at a distance. The optician looked at my prescription which I believed was written for Progressive lenses, but my ophthalmologist had not done. She actually caught the error and explained it to me. A day later, with the proper prescription, I was fitted for the correct lens and was able to use my current frames at Trudy’s suggestion, saving me a lot of money. Further, Trudy took her time as well explaining my purchase with various options, all the time without any pressure to buy more. A week later I called to find my glasses were in and arrived to have them fitted by Monica. She took her time to explain about the adjustment time required for Progressive lenses in a professional and not hurried pace(which I appreciate!) I can recommend these two ladies and their store. I have been a customer for many years and keep going back for good products and customer service.

I was just wowed with great customer service and didn’t even buy anything! I have some glasses that had a broken nose pad so wandered into For Eyes while driving by. It was a Saturday so they were pretty busy, but a nice woman ask if I needed help. I told her I was hoping to get my glasses repaired or buy a repair kit but she quickly said she could take care of it for me. Five minutes, and a few frame adjustments later, I was wearing my repaired glasses. I started to ask how much I owed for the repair but she stopped me and just said, «come back and see us when you’re ready for some new glasses.» I didn’t originally buy my glasses from For Eyes but I will be back here for my next pair!

I’m a fan ONLY because the second time I was there, the staff member that helped me made sure to get it right(Monica, I’m looking at you!). Long story. I went in on 11⁄2 and picked out the glasses I wanted and tried to pay for everything using Care Credit. You think that a a place that has the Care Credit signage all over the place would know how to process a purchase. NOPENOPENOPENOPE! They run my card through the credit card machine and it gives some type of error code. Not one of the three people(thanks, Irma!) on duty has any idea what it means so I go home and blast Care Credit on the phone. I then put it out of my mind. Two weeks later(more like three weeks) I stop by the For Eyes place again to see if my order was still in the system and if it could be processed. I got this lovely woman and she worked with me to ensure I could use the Care Credit card. Seems that new hires only get trained on opening accounts and not how to actually process a Care Credit purchase. I was there for an hour and a half. I understand that people can’t be trained on everything, but really, if you advertise that you accept the darn payment system surely you can train folks how to process the same? I did receive a call from the manager yesterday apologizing profusely but sadly I still have to pay full price for my glasses. Hopefully they will get their act together and teach everyone how to process ALL forms of payment. Just don’t be in a hurry in there.
