Five Guys Burgers and Fries

All Five Guys have good food, but I felt the need to comment on this one in particular due to the service. I just flew in to Richmond for work this week and after a long and terrible trip thanks to USAir, and some hiccups with my nearby hotel, I wasn’t in the best of moods. That changed quickly when I met a kid named David at this Five Guys. He was a younger guy, perhaps it was his first job, who knows? He took my order, complimented me on the jacket I was wearing (nothing spectacular, just a golf windbreaker… but he gave a genuine compliment that caught me off guard.) As soon as I paid he tracked down he woman in front of me because she left her receipt on the counter. As I waited for my food he was out in the dining area, diligently sweeping the floor, wiping tables, and cleaning everything that needed it and more. He politely excused himself as he approached guests who were eating. Once I received my order, and was eating, he made a point of coming over and checking with me to make sure the food was to my liking. He was genuine and pleasant so I asked him his name so that I could include it in a review. As you can see, I don’t write many reviews, but this kid deserves some kudos, and I hope he receives some from his management and fellow colleagues.

Just another burger place. This location is very clean and the service is better than most. It’s pricey for what you get.

Every Five Guys has been a good experience and this one does not disappoint. The day I visited the music playing over the speakers was on point. I’ve found that if you get burgers for take out (its hard not to eat them on the way home) and you leave the burgers sealed up, they get even more delicious having had time to marinate in the wrapper. Get one order of fries if you have 1 – 3 people.

Stopped by for a quick bite and had a great visit.

Order the «Chris Griffa» — a double regular with extra onions and hot sauce (with cheese)! Great service and one tasty burger!

For the greasy burger, you can’t beat 5 guys!

Great burgers and great service. A friendly welcome every time I visit Five Guys. The Little Cheeseburger is anything but Little. Very fulfilling and topped with your choice of many selections. My choice is the grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, mayo, lettuce, and tomato. Get it your way, you will not be disappointed.

I have been hearing all this fuss about Five guys. nothing to write home about In and out is way better!

It is just another burger joint…

They are delious and friendly, would get a five if not for some prices

Tonight was my first Five Guys experience and I couldn’t figure out what all the rage was about. The Bacon Cheeseburger I ordered with Grilled Onions and Mushrooms was an inexpensive $ 5.79 and was ready quickly, but the cheese was slightly over powering. Other than that no complaints. I also ordered a side of fries and was disappointed that they are not blanched, leaving you with a starchy, limp, brown fry.
Regardless, the place was clean, quick, and not too costly. I’m not likely to go again unless someone else is paying though.
