Took way too long on the phone to book a simple reservation. Dealt with incompetent staff named Jean who identified herself as the assistant manager and made it difficult to do business with. Booking room for family driving through. Last time I use Choice hotels. I guess you get what you pay for

What you would expect from a regular motel. Its more of a motel then hotel. I went to breakfast and there was only 2 tables to eat out. The room was OK but not Excellent there was decent heating. Good motel to get off 95 S on your way south.

Easy to get off and on the highway with a Mobil gas station in the same parking lot. Your typical beat/cheap motel but it is about ½ between FL and NH so I have stayed here twice. They offer smoking rooms and allow pets for a $ 20 additional charge.

So this hotel is cheap $ 49) and convenient to I-95, the room is smoke free, my motorcycle is parked right outside, the bed was comfy, and the temp was perfect. That said, the lamps on one side of the entire room didn’t work, there was no in-room coffee, and the little CRTTV had a big line across it. Oh, and there were plenty channels. Also, a convenience store, filling station, and Waffle House are right across the street.

I’m fine with 2-star motels. This was not a standard 2-star motel. My experience wasn’t quite bad enough for me to check out and go to another of the billion motels in the area, but it was close. Con: I changed my reservation by a day due to a huge snowstorm that shut down the entire region. Fine on the phone, way ahead of the published deadline. When I got there, I was told I’d be charged for that day anyways, although they were far from being full. They took off the automatic charge for the safe(listed in the fine print) when I asked them to. Weird/not fun: The light switch by the door of my room was hooked up to two lights and the tv, which had all been turned off individually. So I walked in and tripped around half the room before getting a light on. Pro: More hangers than usual for a motel. Pro: Fridge and microwave in my room, no extra charge. Con: Broken microwave. Con: Someone else’s food in the fridge’s freezer. Con: The blanket on the bed(between the sheet and the decorative cover) didn’t look like it had been washed between me and the last few residents. Hairs stuck in it. Ewwwwww. Pro: Heat lamp in the bathroom. I’m a sucker for em! Con: Dead fly on the bathroom floor. Con: Dead fly stuck to the back of the toilet cover. Con: The lobby was locked and closed when I went to check out, despite the clerk having told me they’d open before then in the morning.
