I had the absolute pleasure of bringing my taste buds here to the Hardywood Food Truck court gathering last night. Me and my friend actually walked by this sweet food truck several times and I finally decided to get something from here. No bright lights, and no gaudy signs or anything of that sort on this food truck. They sold gelato, chocolates, small pastries, truffles, and fudge.
The employees working in the truck were very nice and kept reiterating to me that they have the best gelato in RVA and I love me some Gelato. But, I actually opted for their Tiramisu which I don’t get too often. This was the BEST Tiramisu I have ever had in my entire life. It was sweet but not overly sweet, it was creamy and had a perfect hint of coffee that wasn’t too strong. I could have eaten four of those last night and wouldn’t regret them one bit. $ 4 for a nicely sized piece of Tiramisu.
I am not sure if they have a physical store but if they do I would love to check them out. The next time you go to a (food) festival in Richmond, please come here and get a piece of Tiramisu and you will thank me.
