What I liked about my grandson’s therapy with Dajenya Kafele is he can now have in his words «a normal life», with confidence and a higher level of self esteem and the tools to keep it that way. Now my grandson comes up with things he could do if he is having a bad day, he even come up with things I can do if I’m having a bad day. He is now more caring of other people feelings, he has improved in school. And best of all no outburst of anger. I feel confident that his journey through life will be with great confidence. We are very greatful for Dajenya Kafele and for the great work that she does. Thank you Dajenya for helping my grandson.

My daughter and I came to family therapy as a result of a major family transition — divorce. The whole experience had left the two of us in emotional tatters. Dajenya’s demeanor was the most striking thing to me at the beginning. She was calm and centered, and handled us in a lovingly, compassionate and empathic way, but she was not interested in excuses. This was important to us because so many other people we had encountered up to that point felt «sorry» for us and were ready to excuse our dysfunction as «just the way it was» because we had been so put upon and gone through so much. I was taking the same approach with my daughter, not setting boundaries because I was feeling sorry for her, fits got worse, and we were both giving up. We sought out therapy for solutions and Dajenya helped us improve our relationship, deal with our anger, and sadness and all the side effects of sleeplessness, crankiness. As a result of working with Dajenya our household is a much more calm and peaceful place for all. I highly recommend Dajenya. Our work with her was critical to our healing and moving forward by developing very important life skills.
