One of my favorite coffee shops in Richmond. I use to go to the one on campus all the but then it closed. This place is great to grab a drink and they sell bev’s ice cream! The food is pretty good too. I liked the grilled cheese they have. They have such cool flavors for coffee and ice cream. They have so many pastries that I haven’t tried but I am working on it. The eclairs are huge. I am gonna attempt that next time. I love the atmosphere here. So many colors and mosaic tables. Its absolutely beautiful. It also has much more space compared to the old location near VCU. I’d come here so much more if it was closer to me. Come in here please. Get anything and you should be satisfied. You will love this quirky place.

Great place to hang out and do some work. Very friendly staff. They have a great variety of Rostovs coffee as well as other coffee drinks and teas. Full food menu as well. They’ve opened up their outdoor seating area which is amazing now that the weather is nice!

We ordered lunch for a group of 6 a few weeks ago. 2 people had the Reuben and everyone else orders club sandwiches. I could’ve made better sandwiches at home. The club isn’t a club sandwich, there was no ham, the bacon was soggy and gross. It was basically a turkey panini, it also didn’t have a middle slice of bread. This wasn’t just my sandwich, it was everyone’s. For the folks who ordered the rueben, the only complaint was not enough meat to compensate for the jar of sauerkraut. We will never go back. For anything.

I absolutely love everything about Crossroads! My mom and I have been going here for years. The owners know my face at this point. I’ve since moved to Philadelphia, but whenever I visit RVA, Crossroads is one of my first stops. The employees are always super nice. Incredibly fresh food and coffee. The iced vanilla chai is liquid heaven. I’m also a big fan of their breakfast options — including their breakfast burrito. They also have vegan/veg options. Funny enough, I’ve never had their ice cream, but I’ve heard good things. The pastries are a different story. Definitely pick up a cinnamon roll if you can get to it in time. They’re about as big as my head(which, is massive, take my word for it). Yes, the parking situation can be a pain, especially on the weekend. But it’s never deterred me from going. Crossroads. I love you. Keep it up.

LOVE this hip little café. Free trade coffee, eclectic Panini’s and wraps offer a nice change of pace from the ho hum frozen fare from Starbucks. Sitting on the patio is a people watching extravaganza!

Nice little cozy place. We had simple egg and cheese sandwitch and wheat toast with jam. The toast was awesome. Good selection of coffee. This breakfast made our day! :)

Good for what it sets out to be. But if you drive a pickup, you might want to encase it in bubble wrap and lube before you try to slip it into any of the tiny, precious few parking places. And street parking is not an option. Tucked into a little alcove across from Forest Hill Park, it’s an okay place to hit if you happen on it by chance, but as a destination from other parts of town, probably a tossup. Still, I would drive across town before setting foot inside a Starbucks.

Now that I’m closer to forest hill I heard that I needed to check this place out. So the one weekend I have off I made a trip here, and I’m glad I did. I love the location, literally at the cross road in forest hill. I have always been a little worried about parking there because of how is looks, but that was a breeze! Inside its a lot smaller than I thought, and of course being a Saturday morning it was packed! Not a lot of seating and outside was cold and rainy thanks to the hurricane. But I decided to get my order to eat in and enjoy it a little more. I decided to order a chia smoothie and the breakfast burrito without mushrooms. The burrito didn’t take long to come out, I opted to get the sausage. It was so good! The sausage was nice chunky pieces it does have onions but I feel like it needed a little more, I’m an onion addict. The portion was definitely worth the price, kept me full all day and it was just so good. The chia smoothie was great too! Pretty much like a chia frappacino minus the coffee. All in all I had a great experience and can’t wait to go again! Also they do have vegan and vegetarian options also for my gluten free peeps, some gluten free options!

I’ve always been a fan of Crossroads and miss their Morris St. location near VCU dearly! Food is always fresh and tasty here-I have always gotten the tofu caesar wrap and it never disappoints, stuffed full of fresh veggies and a delicious caesar dressing. The coffees, teas, and other drinks they serve are always great quality. This location is very cute and homey… I love cafes where you can kinda just get lost in thought and take your time. They also serve Bev’s homemade ice cream here, which is a huge plus!

Coffee, sandwiches and homemade icecream– what more can you ask for? I used to frequent Crossroads on the VCU campus before it shut down for their coffee and sandwiches. This location, although farther out, is just as good– may even be better because it has parking! Their grilled cheese and sandwiches are all so savory and generously portioned. Their Espresso Oreo Icecream is sooo good, especially if you’re a coffee addict like me! I might just make the trip out here for this flavor.

I originally heard about Crossroads from my friend Stephanie who’s a regular here. I can definitely see why she loves it so much. The atmosphere is cozy and kitschy. The mosaic and arcade tables and the fresh flowers add such a lovely touch — I haven’t seen that in any other coffee shop. They get their pastries from a supplier and they are all delicious. I also love that they have so many syrup flavors because it makes everything very customizable. I wish I lived closer to this place!

This neighborhood place is great! Cozy, colorful, full of character and characters, dog friendly, people friendly! I regularly visit here, both to run in and grab a drink to go, as well as waste a rainy or cold afternoon, having lunch and cruising the(free, of course) Internet. The whole place is set up so you can be social with strangers, but still have your own little space. The food is always great(breakfast especially!!! Try the absolutely gigantic breakfast burrito with vegan sausage!), beer is always cold, ice cream always ice creamy, and coffee robust and delicious. This is a great place for breakfast with friends, reading alone, first blind dates, lunch with mom, a beer in the middle of your bike ride, a coffee on your way to work, a late evening ice cream and live music… Eclectic, comfortable, safe, welcoming.

Pretty cool hipster spot. Visited early afternoon on a Saturday. Didn’t seem too busy. There were several empty tables but seem crowded due to it being a small establishment with plenty of standing people carrying conversations. Most of which seemed interested in drinks only. We were greeted by nice smiling employees. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a small milkshake. I got my milkshake fairly quickly. However, after drinking the entire thing and still not receiving our food, I began to get concerned with the turnaround. All in all, it took about 20 minutes to receive the breakfast burrito and a sausage croissant. Once I received the breakfast burrito, it only had some of the items in it that were listed on the menu. It was missing onions and salsa. Overall, it tasted good and certainly was filling… but I don’t feel compelled to rush back.

A hipsters paradise. This place is great for a morning snack and drink. I came in on Sunday and was met by a friendly staff dealing with a large crowd of customers. They moved the line quickly and efficiently. They have a wide variety of sandwiches both for breakfast and lunch as well as a variety of beverages, fruit juices, coffees and smoothies etc. I went with a basic sausage and egg sandwich, it was toasted nicely and the portion size was adequate. Strawberry smoothie was delicious, real fruit juice and not overly thick to come off as a milkshake. Definitely worth a visit for a quick bite but also hang around for the WiFi, the company and the overall atmosphere.

This place is great! This place is tucked away in a small little spot isolated away from the main highway so it may be a little difficult to find at first, but it’s location seems fitting for the type of atmosphere this place has. The inside is very relaxing, chill, and almost hipster like. With various clippings, pictures, and quotes everywhere you look. They have various kinds of coffees, lattes, frapps, smoothies, drinks and food. I ordered a gingerbread frap with a breakfast burrito, both of which were amazing. Definitely worth stopping at if you’re in the area. This has now become one of my go to places whenever I’m in the area.

Went to the Forrest Hill location after receiving several recommendations and we loved it! Great and attentive staff, dog friendly(with dog treats!), awesome music, and an overall funky fun café vibe. Both indoor and outdoor(covered) seating are available. We ordered the Caesar wrap with chicken, as well as the breakfast burritos. Both were incredibly filling and tasted amazing. Strongly recommend!
