Very good food and always nice and hot! Fresh and the rice doesn’t stick together. Always have had great service ~ been going here for years ~ food is prepared right in front of you(open kitchen). Hunan Chicken is SUPURB!!! Really just very good food and service here ~ we have been long-time customers and enjoy take-out with our children :)

We love their food, great wonton soup, egg rolls, we have loved everything we have ordered from them. All very fresh and hot. Sometimes they take a while for delivery other times right on time.

The portions were HUGE, and the food was ready quickly. Alas, all of the food was bland and the meat was reallyyyyy grisly. Ick! I wanted to like this place because it is less than a half mile from my house, but I doubt I’ll ever order from here again.

Not at all impressed with this restaurant. The weather was pretty treacherous outside so I decided to see if any nearby places could deliver. China Best said they could get the food to us in an hour which I agreed to. After and hour and thirty minutes passed I called the restaurant to check my order status. The person on the other end of the phone rudely said the driver was on their way and then abruptly hung up. I waited another thirty minutes and this time I call back asking if I could simply retrieve my order if it was going to be much longer. Once again the man on the phone responded with«The driver is on their way! Don’t you see the roads outside?» And again, hung up on me. As a matter of fact I did see the roads. Your restaurant is 7 minutes away using a major roadway which has been clear since this afternoon. Its one thing to be apologetic to your patrons when you have exceeded your estimated delivery time by more than an hour, but it’s another issue in itself that it took 2 and a half hours total to process my order and to drive 7 minutes on a relatively clear road. To top off the poor customer service, our order was wrong. We asked for two orders of chow mein and instead we received two orders of some dish with no noodles in it whatsoever(kind of ironic for a dish with the Chinese word for noodles in its name). On the upside, the hot and sour soup tasted great. But it isn’t nearly enough to make me patronize your restaurant again in the future.

There isn’t too much to say about China Best. It is a basic Chinese carryout in a small little strip of shops. Inside isn’t much to look at, they do have some tables for in house dining but I would recommend taking your food and heading home. Open kitchen so you can see how their preparing your food if that suits you. Food was decent, I went with an Americanized staple of Chinese food Orange Chicken. There was a nice little kick of spice to balance out the sweet of the orange. Rice was a miss for me, rice is also a staple of Chinese places and should never be overcooked, their rice was overcooked and very spongy, definitely doesn’t appeal to my taste. Service was okay when I called in my order there was a slight communication issue with the lady that answered the phone. She also didn’t tell me what my bill was but more motioned for me to look at the number on the cash register, no huge deal but a little rude. I wouldn’t tell all my friends to run out to China Best but if you live in the neighborhood and want some decent food, I say give it a try.

It gets three stars from me – and I hate that I have to do this. The food is great! I love the Triple Delight(or delicacy — I forget the name). I was a fan of Eat Rice on Jahnke Road but after eating China Best, my loyalty shifted. Well, initially. One issue with this place is the fact that it doesn’t serve brown rice. I love brown rice — Eat Rice offers it but China Best doesn’t. Okay, the rice issue isn’t a big deal but the fact that they don’t offer dinner specials upsets me a tad. I love that I can get the Triple Delicacy, rice and egg roll as a dinner special at Eat Rice. They don’t have such specials for dinner here. But I must say, China Best gives great portions. My main gripe about this place is the lack of customer service. It bothers me when restaurants(of any culture or type) do not know how to successfully communicate with the consumer(and of course, with each other). My last experience there wasn’t pleasant as I saw one of the workers throw a customer’s debit card at him because of simple miscommunication. It was highly disrespectful and I’m glad that the customer didn’t curse or knock the man out. They must work on the service. I’ll return to this establishment but China Best gets a slight side eye from me.

Wow. Always had great service and experiences at this place but the lady on the phone needs some sensitivity training she yelled at my ladyfriend and ignored me when I got on the phone to help complete our order. Called Ho Wah and it was cheaper to deliver anyway. Thx Chinas Best!

This is where I first had eggplant with garlic sauce. The food it too legit to not hit them up every time I visit Richmond. Great prices. Ample portions and great service. They deliver too.

Our China Best in take has gone from once a month to once a week. It’s just that good. I hanker for the House Lo Mein and hubs digs the Kung Po Chicken. Great take out for a quiet night at home.

Oh, China’s Best, I love you so much. This is our favorite take-out Chinese place in town — so much so that we drive from Northside to go. Favorites include Singapore chow mei fun, which are perfectly curried rice noodles with shrimp, chicken, cabbage and other vegetables; general tso’s chicken, which is always crisp with delectable sauce; and chicken and broccoli, with loads of moist chicken and perfectly cooked broccoli in a classic brown sauce. it’s my favorite place for fried rice because it’s well seasoned and never soggy. I’m picky about that, so it’s a big deal to me. There are many other great dishes; these are just our favorites. A fun treat is the«Chinese donuts», which are really just canned biscuit dough fried and coated in sugar. Not remotely authentic but fun once in a while. For a healthier dessert, there’s often fresh cut fruit in the cooler with the drinks, which is really nice. This is your typical hole-in-the-wall. Don’t expect ambiance. There are a few tables, but they’re really strictly for waiting for your takeout order to arrive. Take it home(or get delivery if you live in the neighborhood!) and enjoy.

Not bad but not great. They probably have the best lunch special in the area. I got the shrimp with broccoli and fried rice, egg drop soup and an eggroll and my total was under $ 7. That can’t be beat! Food was tasty. The fried rice was doused in soy sauce, though. Not the best idea, guys. Ease up on that shit! Everything else I got was decent. Still looking for that one perfect Chinese spot…

Very affordable with most dishes available in pint size for $ 5. Standard greasy chinese, but with good flavor and surprisingly fresh vegetables.
