Absolutely love this place. Was in Richmond for the weekend and found out about this place last minute. As a lover of meads I absolutely found a way to fit it into my itinerary, and am glad I did. All of their meads were delicious. All a perfect balance of fruit, honey, and whatever other spices they may have added. Viscosity was perfect as well (at least for my taste). Nothing too syrupy (as some meads can be) and nothing overly watery that would make you forget you’re drinking a honey-​based beverage. Just right in the middle of those two. All very drinkable. Also had a nice variety of sweet to dry meads. Something for everybody. On top of that, the staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. Logistically, was also nice that street parking was readily available for free. So yeah, highly recommend this place.

Super super pleased with this place. We went in to buy a bottle or two to try, never having had mead before. I really wasn’t expecting a sample and was very pleasantly surprised to be given samples of every kind of mean they make, along with explanations for each of their creations. It was really a great experience, especially since every single one we tried was delicious. I was also happy to learn that their meads are all more on the dry side and come in a wide variety of natural honey, fruit, spice, and even coffee flavors. Very excited to go back to try their new seasonals and restock my new mead supply.
