The optical department is terrific. The staff members provide excellent, friendly service, and the product selection and prices are good. I won’t shop anywhere else for optical needs.

Bjs apparently finds it ok to raise prices and expects it to go unnoticed by members. I’ve been purchasing the ten inch round birthday cakes for over 15 years. Recently the price was increased from $ 10.99 to $ 15.99. Yet they didn’t increase the price of the sheet cakes. This isn’t the only incident of over pricing I’ve noticed. The Deer Park 16oz bottles were 32 count then they added the 28 count for the same price.
Being a frequent visitor I notice this happening quite often on products I purchase often. I hope BJs values its members to correct these issues. Right now I doubt I will renew my membership when if expires.
BJs used to be the only bulk store I shopped but now I’m looking at others to take their place.

This place is amazing. I got here at 6:50pm and they close at 7:00 pm on Sunday. I was greeted warmly and with a smile. I was able to grab my essentials and those my time was short, the people were so nice.
The lines at the check out were long, all employees on hand came to make the checkout lines go quickly and efficiently. I had coupons and they were happily accepted. I was so pleased with my experience.

For the most part, warehouse clubs are all pretty much alike. But what is nice about BJs is that the sizes in which you are required to buy things so not seem to be quite as large as other stores, which is great when there is only 2 of you at home. Plus, they take credit cards (key since I do not like using my debit card at store terminals due to hacking concerns). But the biggest reason of them all is that BJs parking lot is so much easier to deal with that Costco or Sam’s!

BJ’s is great if you have to buy name brand items, or you just prefer to make your purchases in bulk. I have been a member here for a while and I can definitely tell you that it pays for itself after only two or three visits.
Made a trip to this particular location recently since my freezer was running low on various prepared foods (I work late, so I don’t always have time to cook something very involved). There was plenty of parking close to the entrance, so it made things a bit quicker that way.
BJ’s Wholesale, much like other stores of a similar nature, is a one-​stop shop for everything, from toiletries to high-​end cheeses, boxed wine to bulk apple juice. There is, however, a catch: not everything here is worth buying if you can get by with generics. After doing many comparisons, I have consistently found that buying small or bulk amounts of generics is almost always cheaper than buying bulk amounts of name brand products. As such, pick your purchases wisely if you’re a penny-​pincher like me.
Anyway, here are some things you’ll definitely want to check out here: 1) Beer. You can get bottles by the box, and it’s far cheaper than any grocery store. If you want microbrew, you’re SOL, though. 2) Cheese. They have an amazing variety of cheeses, and while they aren’t all cheap, they are uniformly excellent and will do any cheese aficionado proud. 3) Beef. They have high quality patties at an affordable price, and bulk meat as well. While going to a butcher is still cheapest, this is nice for someone who wants a good amount of meat without having to purchase a separate freezer for it. 4) Drinks. Their selection of drinks is incredible, and you will find everything you’re looking for here. The list goes on, though these are the most noteworthy, in my opinion.
The only drawback of a place like this is the small number of employees available to help you. I needed to buy some soy milk for a friend and could not find the one associated with the coupon, and had to hunt down an employee to get one from the back for me. She was pleasant about it, though I wish they had «help» buttons in the store to request assistance without having to search for it.
In short, this place is great for those who prefer to do all their shopping for months in one go and those who want name brands in bulk at a good price. I would definitely recommend you come by.

Pros:
— The varieties of items here are incredibly impressive.
— Coupons can be helpful here, especially manufacturer’s ones.
— Lots of parking out front.
— Membership is affordable, more so if you get a deal on it.
Cons:
— Finding help is a challenge, and there is no way of getting it without finding the employee yourself.
— Some items are still too expensive in bulk. You might as well just get the generic at a local grocery store and stick with that.

I live in the area and have gotten get the free trial membership opportunities in the mail, but didn’t take advantage of it, until recently. Since I am interested in buying bulk, I decided to take advantage of the free trial membership.
They also offer coupons and accept manufacturers coupons, so its a win win.

I’ve never had a membership to a wholesale club before, so I decided to take advantage of the 2 months free membership offer that BJ’s was giving. On top of that, they were offering a year’s membership at $ 40 instead of their usual $ 50. AND they have coupons!
You really can’t beat a membership here if you have a large family, host parties, or buy for a business.

I don’t really buy a lot of things here as it is. But now it seems as if my selection has gotten even smaller. Today I was unable to find two products I normally purchase here, and the price of the soda we buy here went up almost $ 3 in price! We are only a household of two, so we normally just get a few things here a month. I don’t buy pet food here either. I don’t think I’ll be renewing my membership here this year since my selection is even more limited than before.

For a warehouse club, this one is pretty nice. The aisles are clean and we’ll lit, and the selection is good. Some things are just such a better deal that you have to buy the huge package they sell here. It’s a great place to stock up for a party!

A couple of months ago, I bought a Canon Printer from them for $ 149.99. The printer of course has been great, however 6 weeks later I walked into BJ’s and I saw where the price of the printer had dropped $ 25.00. I said something to them, and they looked up my information and to my much surprised, they paid me back in cash the difference. I am very happy about this as it says a lot about their Customer Service…
