Been buying all our shrimp, clams, crab legs, oysters from B&B for 20 plus years. So figure it out, I am either extremely pleased or plain stupid for dealing with them that long. Going back tomorrow to pick all the seafood for the 26th annual Christmas seafood party.

Been going here for years and never had a problem with anything I have purchased. Getting ready today to get 3 quarts of oysters from them. I always amazes me on reviews people will send in with something like it was pricey. Did you not know the price before you made the purchase? You had the option to leave but chose to pay the price then leave a bad review. Great seafood in the east end of Richmond.

Yeah, so it’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s an over the counter seafood place, not a restaurant. The oysters have always been good. They have some neat things to try too, like homemade crab dip, if you’re lucky to get your hands on some.

Not pleased with this place at all! I went in for crab legs, I had them steamed and seasoned. Apparently they use a homemade seasoning rather obey I didn’t care for it, it taste too garlicky for me. The crab legs were also pricey $ 10.99lb. They were a good size though. I bought crab cakes I didn’t like the seasoning they used and their jumbo shrimp was $ 16.99lb I thought they were a bit pricey and not fresh enough for me

B&B Seafood has been in business for a long time. The original owners that have passed away had hearts made of gold. Their children took over the operation at a tough economic time. The children(owners) are very kind people that would help anyone at anytime. In my opinion, they have kept the doors open despite the economy and competition. Everywhere you look you see somebody selling steamed crabs under a 10′ X 10′ tent with no overhead costs. And, most of the restaurant growth(food service) has blossomed about 1 – 2 miles away on laburnum Ave. So they stand alone as the only food establishment in that area of Williamsburg Road. Simply put, they need an infusion of business and customers to get things back on track. They are surviving and providing jobs and a service to customers. I respect them for that! I have seen a lot of family businesses fold in this economy. The store still has a lot of loyal customers.

The seafood, establishment, and people working in it all look dirty. Flies flying around the food. Walked out without ordering anything. 1 star since 0 isn’t an option.

I use to get crabs here but lately they started to taste funny. Recently purchased half a bushel and ended up having to throw most of it away.
