I really want to love this place, but I can’t quite get there. They have lovely plants at good prices, but service is spotty. I’ve tried to go during their posted business hours only to find them closed more than once. Worse, when I was enthusiastically told they could look into ordering a specific plant I was looking for and that they would call me to let me know the options, I never heard back. There are other local garden centers that I’m happy to visit instead.

This garden store is family owned, and they are super friendly and helpful. They will happily answer any questions you may have, they care about their customers and definitely take pride in their products. The quality of their plants and flowers is fantastic and I have also gotten some amazing deals on large planter pots that are a beautiful addition to my garden.

Having lived a stone’s throw from this hidden treasure I also have to agree with Michelle that, while the selection might not be along the lines of a Stranges, Lowes or Home Depot, the flowers and plants they do stock are of a much heartier variety then one typically gets from big box stores. I have also purchased basic plants here(pansies, gerber daisies, violas, impatiens etc). This is a family run, local Garden Center and these folks stand behind what they sell. They offer advise on planting and care tips and I would recommend this place for anyone who is needing more personalized service and the kind of recommendations that come from owners who know what they sell and how it performs in the local climate.

Great little neighborhood garden store, with really reasonable prices and great quality plants. I have never gotten a bad plant from this place, and the staff is knowledgeable and more than willing to make recommendations based on where you want to plant. Last year I bought an entire garden’s worth of flowers from here(camillas, peonies, hydrangeas, dwarf gardenias, plus tomatoes, basil, dill, and pepper plants) and they were all awesome– and I do not have a green thumb. I got great instructions on how to plant and take care of them, and they are all thriving, one year later~!
