Not Your Typical Antique Store
We stopped in here on our way home from looking at other antique places. What a decision it was to stop here. From the moment I entered I said to myself that this is what I’m talking about.
This place is not your typical antique store because they have a lot of what you will find in other stores but the stuff that they have has been recovered, refurbished and cleaned off. That’s what I like about this place. If you are in need of architectural hinges for a project, they have them. These guys recover the goods that are hidden behind several coats of paint or rust and they expose the prize that is underneath.
Besides hinges and hardware they have solid oak doors, windows, railings, posts, scales and many more items.
The cost for their stuff seams to be somewhat pricey but for what you are getting and consider what it took to remove it from where it was built in, it seems to be in line.
It’s sad that most of the antique stores have closed in Richmond because they did have a lot to offer for everyone. I am glad that we decided to stop in here because it turns out to be what I was looking for. I will be back as I did spot a couple of items that I want for my home.
