This is the worst facility to be employed by. The staff is ghetto some have slept with the supervisor for more hours. The nurses there should have several malpractice suits under their belts for killing residents as a result of wrong medication and lack of oxygen in their oxygen tanks but due to the common sweeping everything under the rug this has yet to happen #Facts. The nursing department does not appreciate their nursing staff and treats them like a bunch of slaves which often results in patient neglect. They have a wicked witch in charge of employees vacation and clerical aspect of the department who makes the entire nursing staff lives a daily nightmare. Stay clear if this facility.

My Mother was transferred to Trump Pavilion from Jamaica Hospital. She was severely dehydrated. They stabilized her condition, and she is now in Trump. This place rocks! It is brand spanking new, and clean as a whistle. The semi-private rooms allow privacy, the beds are spaced far apart with a curtain in between beds. The staff is very accommodating, and a caring bunch. The physical therapist got my Mother up the day after she checked in. The nurses are stellar attending to every need. As soon as you ask them for something, they waste no time in getting to you. The activity schedule is jammed packed if one wants to interact with others. I would highly recommend Trump for either rehabilitation or a long term stay.

The building is new and beautiful, the aides are pleasant and do their jobs well, the floor nurses are pros, there are enough activities to keep people busy during the days, and they validate parking for visitors! You’re not going there for the food so work with the dietician to get a menu you like.
