Tried Plums for the first time today. Upon entry, it was a little strange. No one said welcome, have a seat, order here first, would you like a menu or anything. Since I didn’t see any waitresses walking around, I went to the counter and got a to go menu. When I was ready to order, I stepped up to the counter and a young gentleman told another lady that had her back turned«hey, he’s ready for you». Not the best intro or welcome to our restaurant… I digress. For lunch, I Had the Italian sandwich and potato soup. I asked to add cheddar cheese and to have the sandwich toasted. I got some microwaved pepperoni with a slice of American cheese. Bread wasn’t even warmed. The potato soup tastes okay, but the plastic spoon that was supplied to eat it with would barely hold up to a spoonful of soup. It definitely wasn’t strong enough to cut the large pieces of potato in the soup. The breakfast menu looked really good, so maybe I’ll try that… if I go back.

This place is a little tucked back here. But definitely worth the find. A quaint little diner with a very pleasant, sweet and happy wait staff. I ordered a patty melt and it was as expected for a party melt from a diner. The only down fall I saw was my preference for real plates. All foam plates, cups, etc. all in all it was exactly as I expected it to be. Nothing blew my mind.

Don’t waste your money. The wife and I ordered the shrimp salad sandwich. It was made on the cheapest grocery store brand bread out there and they barely put any shrimp salad on the dang sandwich. It was 18 bucks for two sandwiches and a small side of pasta salad and we left still hungry. We won’t be coming back.

I have absolutely no complaints! The girls working there were very friendly and service was quick. The food was great, best sweet fries I’ve had. they were thick cut and delicious! Next time I am going to try out their sandwiches they looked amazing too :)

Extremely slow service. 3 girls behind counter running around doing nothing productive while shop is full of customers waiting to eat. Out of chicken salad. One girl eating while she made our sandwiches… If you are traveling 95 not worth the time you have to wait. Good grief not very respectful of customers.

Absolutely worth the drive from I-95! We had great service and all of our meals were good. We ordered the rueben, patty melt, chicken salad sandwich, and shrimp salad sandwich. We also had the fried pickles and corn nuggets. Our food came out quickly and was fresh and hot. The service was very friendly and helpful. If we are in the area we will definitely be back.

Friendly and convenient to I 95. Slightly sweet subs with Boar’s Head cheeses and meats, Breyers ice cream, plus fried pickles and other fried food. They were happy to add cheese to the veggie sub when I asked.

Reliably good and the staff is friendly. Also their salads are better priced then the packaged stuff at Kroger.

The best time to hit the place is for breakfast! Jackie makes the best grits EVER and the French toast is yummy as well. They make great sandwiches and have a killer Reuben. They are expanding their fare to include fried foods as well. The staff in the am is superior. Great family restaurant!
