No Frills Tattoo

I came here to get a tattoo done by Jolie, I was familiar with her work from a previous shop she worked. Although this was my first tattoo done by Jolie she has tattooed quite a few of my friends.
I made an appointment for 6:00 pm and Jolie was ready for me when I arrived. The shop is a smaller than the previous she worked at but this shop is super clean and well organized. When I arrived I emailed Jolie the pictures of the tattoo that I wanted. I wanted a design from both pictures incorporated together and I wanted to remove a few things. Upon reviewing the pictures Jolie stated it would be no problem, she would design it and show me what she came of with. I gave her room to work and once she showed me the stencil I was more than happy with the end results.
Jolie is very clean and made sure I seen that everything was sterile. I informed Jolie prior to beginning the tattoo that I was a diabetic. Jolie made sure to ask if my sugar levels were good and she cared about my over all health. Once Jolie begin my tattoo I felt no discomfort what so ever other than the normal experience that comes with being repeatedly stuck with a needle. Jolie isn’t heavy handed which I can appreciate. This being my 9^th tattoo trust me you can tell the difference when someone is light or heavy handed.
Jolie prices in my opinion is very reasonable, considering the quality of work & professionalism she provides.
I loved how my tattoo came out and will definitely recommend Jolie to anyone looking to get some tattoo work done.

I found this little gem of a tattoo shop while searching for a local tattoo shop. The shop is located right off 115^th and Jamaica Ave in a nondescript store, Mike the owner was super friendly and patient and I immediately felt comfortable. I’ve wanted a memorial tattoo for years, but struggled to find a design/​artist that worked. I explained my vision to Mike, he helped me finalize my design and set up an appointment for the following week.
When I arrived at my appointment, I was a nervous wreck… after all this is permanent. Mike and I chatted it up and before you know it his masterpiece was complete and I was one happy girl.
Rates are reasonable and my boy Mike has skills for days… we already made plans for my next 2 :)
If you are looking for a laid back experience in a no frills environment which results in a high frills tattoo, No Frills is it.

This is by far the classiest tattoo joint in all of Queens. I’m full of tattoo’s from various places, some good some could have been better. Thank the lord for Mike he fixed them all and added a few more. Clean, happy environment. I called it «Pain with entertainment». I won’t go anywhere else.

Too often, people believe that the only place they can get a great tattoo from is «in the Village». However, No Frills is a hidden gem in the heart of Richmond Hill, that provides fantastic work, a friendly atmosphere, and of course the most stringent adherence to the Dept. of Health’s requirements. The owner Mike, is an experienced and talented artist who will offer a thorough and honest consultation, i.e. he won’t just slap on a random picture that you’ll end up regretting just to get a few dollars from you. He’s also very patient, a necessary skill when dealing with squirmy customers like myself. His work is detailed and distinctive, and it’ll have everyone asking, «Where’d you get that done?» I bet that once you give No Frills Tattoo a try, you’ll probably run out of space for more ink, because your experience here will be so enjoyable.

I heard about this place through FB, i decided to check it out & was really impressed & felt comfortable instantly. Mike (Shop Owner) is an awesome & funny guy. He’s very talented and knows what he’s doing. He takes his time gives you exactly what you want or even better. WE just finished up one of my tattoos, & he’s covering up one and doing a few more for me before summer. He’s also the most wonderful piercer i’ve ever had, he’s gentle he keeps me busy & its over before i knew it. Wouldn’t trust anyone else to poke holes or ink my body. His prices are reasonable & he entertains you for free. I’ll definitely be going here for yrs to come.
