I travel quite a bit for work. I was not looking forward to this stay. I am a Marriott platinum member, however have not stayed at a Townplace. I am pleasantly surprised. The room is spotless and modern. The bed is very comfortable… Better than my own at home! What a terrific hotel. Being away from home is difficult… The comforts of my room have made the stay wonderful!

I enjoyed my stay here. Comfortable room. Fluffy pillows. Full kitchenette. I like the heavy curtains which block out the beaming sun. Front desk was helpful and friendly. And the business area — which is more like a counter by the entrance door — was by far the most useful, purposeful, fully-functioning service center that I’ve used at a hotel. Login and print your boarding pass, easy breezy. No issues, no printer trouble. Just surf the web and do what you need to do. Now THAT’s what makes your stay comfortable. The breakfast isn’t fancy so just head down the street to Roaster’s for coffee. The super organized rooms reminded me I need to make another trip to Ikea and get smart about my own living space at home. You can’t go wrong by staying here.

Stayed in a basic room with 4 kids(3, 4, 6, 8) and two adults. Room was great — clean, had all the comforts we needed and loved having a kitchen. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and adults enjoyed the hot tub and work out room. Loved having the free continental breakfast(waffles, bagels, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, juice, muffins, fruit). All the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the freeway but did not bother me in the least. Across the street is Anthony’s Home Port Restaurant, a waterfront park and trails. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing customer service! 5 stars! My husband often stays here when he travels for work. I like to surprise him with a personal note or something special and this particular trip things got to busy and I forgot. One phone call to the awesome front desk staff and the next morning they put a Starbucks gift card in his room with a note that said«Natalya is thinking of you.» They did not even charge me!

TownePlace Suites is a newer hotel in Richland right next to the marina and unfortunately right next to the freeway. The sound from traffic was probably about medium-low but the air conditioner did a good job of drowning out most of the noise. Anyway, the check-in area is bare, this is more of an extended-stay place but you still get plenty of service. They have a breakfast area where they serve a continental breakfast each morning, the only proteins are boiled eggs. The rooms are nice, nothing spectacular, I can see them wearing out quickly over time. The kitchens in the room are nice, the appliances are probably nicer than what I have at home — stainless steel fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove. All of the kitchen essentials are provided. Free WiFi, cable is included. Another mention on the noise, the footsteps of your upstairs neighbor can be heard pretty clearly from your room so go for the top floors. They have a pretty nice gym with upgraded treadmills and plenty of weigh equipment. The pool is pretty small but hotel standard and they have a hot tub. The hotel is right next to Anthony’s restaurant and down the street from Winco so you don’t feel stuck in the middle of nowhere. Overall it was a good stay and very reasonably priced for the size and quality of the rooms.
