My favorite thing to do on a Friday since moving to the tri-cities this summer! They offer a variety of vendors for produce, dairy, wine, plants, and more. They also have live music and food stands for some local favorite restaurants like Stick and Stone and Diggity Dog. I wish that their hours were more inclusive of people who work a regular, full-time schedule on Fridays. I have a flexible schedule at the moment, but I’ll be sad to miss out when I’m back to the 9 – 5’s. Truly going to miss this over the winter.

Wow!!! Why do people that live here need grocery stores? LOL!!! Farmers markets here are just flat out amazing. Coming from a big city… Where local produce is not very readily accessible… When I saw this I was pretty excited but did not expect it to be this darn good. The prices are about comparable as the grocery store. But… People here literally bring veggies, fruits… Thathey just picked either the night before or the morning before coming to the market. OMG!!! So awesome. And what in the world is a rainbow carrots? I mean they have some cool stuff that you have not seen before. They have wines… Bought lavender(very cool) eggs that were from a local chicken coop with free running chickens… What in the world!!! It’s fun!!! I try to go when I can.

This place gets better year after year. More and more suppliers and great crowd. The produce is amazing… as it should be for being in one of the highest producing Ag areas in the world. Be sure to check out my staple TSP bakery or the new pickle guy! :)

I’ve been to the Richland Farmers Market a few times now… and I LOVE it. I would go more, but I think I may go broke. I walk out of there with bags and bags of awesome items, from fruit and veggie, to honey and tea. It’s all wonderful. And with the fruit and veggies tasting SO good it’s easy to get your daily requirement. I would HIGHLY recommend visiting the farmers market chance you get. All the vendors are very friendly, and are more than happy to give you a taste of what they are offering.

I love this farmers market! Lots of variety in fruits and veggies plus breads, baked goods, kettle corn and honey to list a few of my favorites. We also had some great pizza from a vendor who I think was from Idaho. Such a great way to spend the morning with the kids.

It’s been a while since I went to a local farmers market … I’ve been to some pretty good ones in Sacramento, CA and Austin, TX … so this was a real treat for me! Look around … this region is famous for it’s fruits so I eagerly anticipated all the colors and flavors with delight! It was really good — and I was pleasantly surprised at the overall experience. It was clean and layed out nicely … plenty of room to maneuver around standing peeps and strollers. Variety — and lots of it. From hand crafted items, wines, fudge, and of course produce how can you go wrong. Prices from vendors varied slightly and free samples were provided by all. It has been cherry season so I gladly accepted sampling many cherry varieties I’ve never heard or seen before. Even tho I went back to the Ranier’s that I love so much. I happened to go with my brother and he knows a lot of the vendors(he’s a regular) and has his special stands where he likes to buy certain stuff. So getting that«inside» scoop was helpful. It’s small enough to get through quickly if you know what you want … yet relaxed and friendly if you’re just out browsing. Him being a long time local ran into a number of people he knew either from work or from just being out and about. So that was also nice :) Parking was easy and right across the street … make sure you hit all the side vendors when you want some shade! It’s bike accessible and I look forward to a Nirve Cruiser adventure there soon. It is on a Friday — so if you don’t have that day off from work — you’ll miss it. But — if you are off on Friday and haven’t been … put it on your bucket list. I’ve been told that the one in Pasco is good too — and when I get there — a review will be posted.

I was actually pretty surprised by the wide range of options offered. Not only was there tons of yummy fresh fruits and veggies offered but there was also kettle corn, baked goods and other crafts for sale. It is still relatively small but it seems to keep expanding. Parking isn’t too difficult to find when we got there at 10 a.m. I found that when I took my time to explore I was there for an hour and a half. We ended up buying snickerdoodle cookies, fudge, italian ice, kettle corn and fresh blackberries. I would definitely go again when I’m in the area.

la la la loved it. there were many of the same vendors from the pasco farmer’s market but with a lot of extra interesting additives. we could have bought something from every stand. i was particularly interested in all of the free range beef ranchers.(or whatever they’re called). if i lived in the area– i’d be hitting them up for all of my beefy needs. we loaded up with bing cherries, zucchini bread, honey sticks, hermiston blueberries, iced chais and a woven basket still damp from the weaver’s hands– and headed across the street to the park. it was an awesome way to enjoy our trip to the tri citites. ps-there were two guys covering johnny cash and one keyboard player channeling kip dynamite. both entertaining

LOVEIT! So happy Richland has it’s own farmer’s market. And yes, every year it does get bigger. Love all the produce, but especially love«Peace of Love Jewlery», beautiful handmade silver, beaded, and jeweled pieces at great prices. I go there every Friday just to see her and stock up on one of a kind handmade pieces. And love love«Kitchen Clothesline», beautiful little girl skirts, aprons and more with trendy quality fabrics!

Wow. I was pleasantly surprised by this Farmer’s Market. When one mentions Farmer’s Market in the Tri-Cities, the one in Pasco steals the show, but this one should give it a run for its money. It’s held on Fridays from 9am-1pm. I made it there at noon, and it was still pretty happening. I was amazed at how many people were here, and more surprised by the number of vendors. Richland’s Parkway area was overrun by the Market! Many of the vendors who do the Pasco Farmer’s Market were here, but it seemed as if there were more here! All kinds of colors(ah, the harvest season), so many yummy scents(kettle corn, hot dogs, home-made candles, etc.), and lots of small-town livin’. I ended up grabbing a bite to eat and chilling out here for a while & people-watching. All in all, a good time was had here. Its close enough that I can bike to it – I’ll do it next time if I’m off on a Friday and get up before 11am! My only gripe — It’s only open during hours when I’m generally at work. Might need to start going to work late on Fridays during the summer/fall!

I was so excited when I heard about this. Then I went… umm where is it? It’s really small. It is 2 short blocks long. Did I meet interesting people? YES I met the owner of a couple restaurants. that’s a small town for you. I bought fresh vegies. I ate out. .) Then it was over BOOM!

a smallish market but getting bigger every year. The vendors remember you from week to week. It’s walking distance from my house which is why it gets 5 stars(:

This place is getting bigger and better every year. They are open on Fridays from 9am to 1pm(I believe). I was there today at about 11am-ish…and I really enjoyed my time. They had wonderful live music and great vendors. They have competitive prices, which we all benefit from. I picked up blueberries, blackberries, apricots, and cherries! :) They were so yummy! Also…another«Benni» is its location. It being in a plaza, there are numerous businesses with fabulous food, including casa mia, subs-n-jean, smoovies, and stone soup. Enjoy!
