Frost Me Sweet

I always get the Sweet and Savory Ruben on the house focaccia bread with garlic fries. It tastes amazing and is followed perfectly by a salted caramel cupcake. Highly recommended this gourmet spot in the heart of Richland, WA.

Little over priced and crowded. The inside looks very nice but I dont like the seats. The food is ok for the most part but you have to watch out for the flies when you eat. The wait can be bad from time to time. The cupcakes are ok. The serves can be rude and forget your order from time to time as well.

Food is good and you have to live the cupcakes. Do believe prices are too high $ 18 for a salad is a bit steep for my wallet. We are not Seattle and location is nice but not worth $ 18.

I had the turtle pecan cheesecake and it was perfect. It tasted so much better than any other cheesecake I’ve ever had. The dessert was perfectly sweet, but not overly so. Also the cheesecake was rich without being too much for its toppings. The presentation is A+ too. Simple plates with chocolate drizzle and a perfect amount of toppings. Makes me think food is an art!
The seating area is fancy but not unwelcoming. The tables are beautifully set and have bouquets made with real flowers. Honestly this store reminds me of Goldilocks, everything has a perfect balance from the dessert to the service. Perfect for a sweet treat every once in awhile!

Such a wonderful place to grab a cupcake with the kids or a gal pal! So many choices even some gluten free options! The gourmet grilled cheese is amazing on their in house focaccia bread, paired with the best garlic fries I’ve had in the TriCities!

Frost me Sweet is a one of the places you want to take people to and recommend.
I’ve been several times for lunch and the service and food has always been fabulous. They have great sandwiches and soups, (garlic fries are amazing) as well as great coffee.
I’d not had any of their treats but recently ordered a cake for my daughters first birthday. I had ordered another take from another local bakery but had a bad experience so moved on.
You need to order the cake I believe 5 days before you need it. I went in a week and a half before and ordered it. I had a couple of Pinterest pins I emailed after I had placed order. The gal I placed the order with was friendly and so helpful when we were deciding cake flavors and frosting!
When I got the cake I was beyond pleased! It was so adorable and not only did it look great it tasted fabulous! The frosting is sweet, but isn’t that what one would expect?! My kids loved it! I will be ordering my cakes from here from now on.

Came for the cupcakes (shown in my pic)… ended up with a birthday lunch. The grilled cheese with apple is DELISH! They’re a little bit on the spendy side, however you receive fresh, local flavors in return. I don’t believe anything on their menu tastes foul. An added bonus, mt friend’s son is gluten intolerant, so we stop to grab a gf cupcake for my son’s birthday so he can enjoy dessert with us!

Good food, good service, quite busy at lunch hour. They have garlic fries that are truly amazing, but you’ll need at least 3 pieces of gum after those! Burger was nice, bun felt maybe a day old instead of fresh. Overall, was good and would go back for sure. Super trendy. We went with with our twins, so it’s nice that their menus were on the backs of Dr Seuss books.

I hate to give this a «two star» but every time I go I’m just underwhelmed. Good LORD «Frost me SWEET» is not an understatement. Their frosting is like death by sugar sweet and I love my sugar so that says a lot. The cake is really good, the texture is great, but even my KIDS wouldn’t eat them.
I really really wanted to like this place. The décor and atmosphere is great, the customer service is usually pretty good. Maybe I’ll go back for lunch one of these days and update my rating if the food holds up better than the cupcakes.

Very cute bakery… cupcakes are amazing. Lunch menu not bad either. Love supporting local businesses.

I just went there and got a slice of pumpkin cheesecake and it cost me seven dollars. The price isn’t the problem cause I’ve gotten their red velvet cheesecake and it was wonderful it’s the size that I have a problem with this slice or whatever u wanna call it is not worth seven dollars and I feel like I got ripped off. It was so freaking thin I couldn’t even take it outta the box cause it started to fall apart this is ridiculous. My job always orders from there for parties and so on I’ll be talking to my boss about this cause who wants to spend money somewhere that’s not even meeting customers needs. when they opened the box I said are u serious I paid 13 something cause I got cupcakes also and walked out

Went there for early dinner.
#1. Flies everywhere, we had to cover our wine glasses to keep the flies out. Brought to servers attention. She said «yes they are really bad this year» WHAT?
#2 Asked for a sweet wine. They need to learn about wines. Their dessert wine was not sweet at all.
#3. ordered an appetizer. I guess we had to specify to bring it before the meal as they brought with the sandwich.
#4. Crab melt sandwich had hardly any crab melt filling, it was barely enough for 1 side of sandwich as we scrapped it over to one side of bread. Bread was over cooked and too crunchy.
#5. Now more flies buzzing around getting on our food.
#6. Dessert ok but we told waitress that we would split it and then had to ask waitress to bring another plate so we could split it.
#7. As we where done and leaving the waitress started mopping the floor. In the middle of the dinner shift. Weird.
The servers and cooks need to go to a «classy» place to see what that looks, feels and tastes like.
Count me out for ever going back.

I hate to leave this review but I’m feel so cheated after my experience today.
I LOVE Frost Me Sweets cupcakes, honestly probably too much. But today I ordered lunch and I am still upset about it 8 hours later.
My boss said she’d treat us all to take out today, and everyone was super excited to do FMS. I voted for Thai food, but that didn’t win, so when I saw FMS had curry I thought, hey, the best of both worlds.
I ordered the Curry On, a yellow vegetarian curry, severed with jasmine rice for $ 10. When I opened up my to go box and saw not even 8oz of curry in easily a 24 oz container I felt cheated. If you’re going for small portions don’t put it in a huge container. I work in a restaurant and use these disposable containers everyday, I know how full they should be. This wasn’t acceptable. Not to mention the «side» of jasmine rice was the size of an ice cream scooper…
I’m sorry to say I don’t think I’ll try lunch there again. The flavor was good, not the best, but hey their thing isn’t Thai food.

I come here time and time again for the wonderful concoctions that Megan creates. I love the desserts and the food is great as well! I booked Megan to do a cupcake tower for my wedding day, and I was not disappointed. She was easy to contact and was so helpful throughout the entire process. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a caterer or beautiful, sweet creation.

Cupcakes are great, food is hit or miss. Some things are great and others not at all (worst tomato soup I ever had and ahi tuna wasn’t very good). It is not a place I generally want to go, but if with friends who want to go there I don’t resist. I mean, they have CUPCAKES! Who says no to that? They even have vegan options for those that are so inclined.
My complain is the seating… I ALWAYS get stuck sitting in the awkward hallway. It makes for a horrible dining experience. I understand that is where the 2 person tables are located but that is my point. Having seating in a thoroughfare next to cashier, ppl serving, ppl waiting SUCKS! And really should be considered as an area needing improvement.

I love this place. The menu is unique and the food is great. The service is always friendly.
While the food is great the desserts are fantastic! Leave room for it — there will be no regrets.
The ambiance is lacking but it does the best with what there is to work with.

Frost Me Sweet has amazing food, desserts, and service. My personal favorites are the PDX wrap and the Gourmet Grilled Cheese (with Prosciutto).
Megan and her team are also amazing baking artists. Is that a thing? Can I make it a thing? I should look into that… It’ll catch on.
Anyways, back to the review. We’ve ordered cupcakes custom made, and the results are nothing short of incredible. We’ve ordered two custom cakes from FMS — what the cool kids call it — and, WOW!
Megan designed our wedding cake. In fact, we were so excited to use FMS as our wedding cake provider, that we planned our weekend around when they were available!
For my husband’s birthday, she made an exact replica of his beloved FJ (I’ll post a picture). It was unreal. We didn’t want to eat it!
… But we did. And I don’t regret it — although I probably should have limited my serving to one slice of three.
Stop in. Save room for dessert. Take some home «for a friend», and have it for breakfast. With coffee, of course.

I’m super sorry to report that my coworkers and I all got physically ill after eating their cupcakes this week. Some of us even missed work because of how sick we were. The cupcake was delicious, I hope they fix whatever the heck went wrong.
No amount of «yum» is worth the amount of «OUCH! I’M DYING!!»

This place is my lunch go to when I want a finely crafted sandwich or a little celebratory sugary treat. They are much more than a cupcake shop and do not just serve… sandwiches. They offer food with amazing ingredients and do not just serve standard meals. They have a blend of meals from various cultures and combine items you would not normally think to put together. This is the equivalent of a big city hip restaurant you might find in ballard or queen anne. Highly recommended and lappdaddyapproved

FMS has emerged as a favorite lunch destination when I want to feel like I’m loved greater than any other person on the planet. I dig on the comfy-​feeling atmosphere, the attentive waitresses, and a few of the staple food items.
Trying to get me to switch from my regular lunch haul (Half-​order Savely Sweet & Spicy Reuben with fries) is a foolish endeavor. This panini on house-​made focaccia with candied corned beef is jazzed up by sauerkraut, pickled jalapeño, swiss cheese and a chipotle aioli. A half order is just fine for me when coupled with a heap of garlic parmesean fries. And if you’re a gluttonous fool (which I am), you will ask for a heated Elvis cupcake which has solidified itself as my absolute FAVORITE cupcake ever constructed and consumed. The chocolate cake and peanut butter frosting couples so perfectly with the banana ganache center that you may name your firstborn «Elvis» as tribute.
Get there early for lunch as it does fill up quickly. Try the outdoor seating for dinner. Bring that special someone a cupcake to-​go and exponentially increase your chances of becoming their new favorite person.
Positives: Excellent paninis, cupcakes, salads, good service, cute location
Negatives: Lunchtime can suffer from inconsistancy (looking at you, luke-​warm fries), higher priced eatery.
