This is a customer service review, as I recently purchased their lawn service package. I will update with a product review in a few weeks. This review will include the sales contact, the tree and shrub technician contact and the lawn care technician contact. Sales: I was expecting a hard sell for additional services when I called, and had put off calling for a week because I was dreading that. I was greatly relieved that it didnt happpen, yes I was informed of additional services being offered at a discount but the gentleman I spoke to politely discontinued attempting to sell them when I told him I was only currently interested in the lawn care ONLY which came with a one time tree and shrub service for fertilization. I didn’t get the additional«single mom with college kids» discount(10%), my own requested invention, but he kindly and couteously listened to my effort at attempting to get a better price on the package. overall I was very satisfied. Tree and Shrub Technician(Patrick): Patrick arrived about a week after purchasing, and yes, he did discuss with me the additional services I could get at a discount; why they are recommended and beneficial. He too was very polite and couteous, and he has me considering them. Special note: I was unsure as to when the first weed service was to occur, so Patrick kindly offered to call the office to confirm it for me. Nice! Lawn Care Technician(Jimmy): Jimmy arrived 3 days later to attack the weeds. I didnt know I could get so excited when seeing that truck pull up, but I was. The weeds need to go! Jimmy too was pleasant and courteous, no complaints. As it was lightly raining and I was concerned about wash off, Jimmy relieved my concerns and informed me that the light rain was preferred to help the teatment but if the rain became heavy, to calll him back and they would retreat if needed in a few days. Thanks Jimmy! I am a Service Management professional and so I have very high standards for customer contact and product satisfaction. So far my Tru Green experience is meeting my expectations.

Update. So I finally gave up trying to get a straight answer and just let them do their thing. They sprayed the nutsedge after it germinated and it has really improved. But it is not gone. There were parts that were repeatedly missed and weeds flourished. The manager said he would work with the tech to address weeds as they occurred. I had very large lumps of crabgrass, and a large variety of broadleaf weeds. How were they overlooking these? One of the times they came they only fertilized. No weed treatment. The weeds really took off. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and started pulling the largest but not before getting a letter from my HOA about weeds. Trugreen had been there a few weeks prior and did finally spray but I called them and had them do a retreatment because The weeds were still present. After that my lawn turned yellow. I watered my lawn heavily to try and save it. Half the weeds died others died at my hands. I just don’t think I should be having to pull weeds to keep my HOA off my back when I’m paying for service. I’m convinced they don’t customize their treatment for your lawn. I think everyone in a given area is given the same recipe. Corners and parkways seem to be overlooked or not properly treated.
