Subramanian Kalaimani

I took my kids to Dr. Kalai for about seven years, from 2007 – 2014.
Pros:
She is a nice enough doctor and spends enough time with the patients to make them feel treated.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
They take most insurance easily enough.
The rooms are cute with the décor.
Cons:
You wait a loooooong time most of the time in the exam room because she has so many patients booked. (I noticed recently she’s hired another doctor so that may have changed)
She is a little curt and not very personable, although efficient.
Takes forever to get stuff back to you. (rx, forms, etc)
The waiting room could definitely use updating.
Overall it’s a nice enough office but I had to change pediatricians since they are so overbooked that my transplant child wasn’t getting the attention she needed in a timely manner. Fine for normal healthy kids if you don’t mind a wait, but I don’t recommend for special needs children.
