A pleasure to do business with Advanced Glass Systems! Not all auto glass is created equal. In doing a lot of research online, I discovered that there are basically 3 grades of auto glass:(1) dealer grade-which would be the same as the vehicle was manufactured with,(2) OEM-similar to dealer grade but would not have the manufacturer markings,(3) aftermarket or OEE(original equipment equivalent). All auto glass will have a DOT number on it. Using the following link, anyone can find out where the auto glass was manufactured: . I also found out that most other glass shops want to install the OEE grade as it is the cheapest, but with cheap you also sacrifice quality. A windshield is a very important part of vehicle safety in an accident, and in my opinion, you don’t want to go cheap on a windshield. Paige at Advanced Glass Systems was very patient with me. She was able to get the dealer grade windshield that I wanted for my vehicle and installation at a fraction of the cost of what the dealership wanted for the exact same item!
