Henning’s Fish House

This is a real hidden gem. I personally do not care for fish but everyone else seems to love it. I come here for the hand made and hand battered chicken strips. I am a very picky eater and they are the best chicken strips I’ve had to this date. The service is great. It is small and best to come on off busy hours.

Walleye, pan fried/​broiled, was delicious! However, the much advertised fried cod was just not that good. Baked potatoes were good. Salad — mediocre. The XL chocolate chip cookies-​great.

This is the to go site for Wisconsin Friday Night Fish Fries! The décor is obvious by it nautical theme. The tables are a bit rough but the food is good! The service is all young staffers just starting out but the management does a great job to keep the customers coming back and they have made a name in Richland Center! It is a nice casual place for a family meal, but it is not my favorite. The place is small and don’t even chance it on a Friday night I would just do their take out. They are quick for both, which is amazing for their amount of orders. It has an old time feel for a restuarant and likes to keep it that way. This is one and only local seafood place, but has a great reputation that keeps us coming back!
