Sugarless deLite

While I myself am not a diabetic, limiting sugar content is good for all of us, esp living in a country which lets face it over saturates everything with sugar.
Personally I’ve never been a fan of cake, its often too sweet, and frosting can be disgusting, but not so with this cake! No these labors of love and corn derived sweeteners are like the cakes America was meant to have before industrialization took over the food business, before lethargy, and laziness became a national pass time, and before people stopped appreciating nuance in their food. Yes, these are the cakes of a simpler time, a time when people gave a damn. The frosting is cream cheese based, and not overly sweet but with no after taste of lazily produced cancer inducing sugar substitutes. The cake itself is just moist enough, and coated with delicious pecans which play perfectly with the frosting. Enjoy the slices with fresh espresso, and you are in cake heaven, wondering why all cakes cannot be made like this, and lamenting that they will never be, but luckily we still have Sugarless Delite, and until then all is not lost, there is still hope. Delicious cakey hope.

Wow! This place is amazing! I was looking for a cake safe for diabetics for my fathers birthday tomorrow. I found sugarless delite and decided to get something here. This place is made for diabetics or anyone looking to cut down on sugar!!! I got a free yogurt from checking in as I was waiting for the carrot cake. The yogurt was so good and tasted just like ice cream! You could never tell it was sugar free! No after taste or any slight taste of sugar substitute. I waited to write this review after we had tasted the cake. We didn’t tell my father this cake was sugar free, (we wanted it to be a surprise.) After he blew out the candles, he cut himself a small piece, I proceeded to tell him go ahead have a bigger price, it’s your birthday! He said, «no, no, I can’t.» So he tasted the cake and said wow this is great! Then I told him that it was sugar free so he can go crazy! He couldn’t believe it was sugar free, no one could! The cake was perfect! Thank you sugarless delite. This is now my new Go-​to bakery!:)

It was a Sunday and basically every dessert place was closed except here. We probably should’ve known by the name that everything here was going to be, well, sugarless. We decided on a chocolate swirl cheesecake which was $ 6 for the piece. After the first bite, we both looked at each other in disappointment and offered the other person to eat the rest. It’s not that it was horrible, but it tasted like you were eating a sweetless block of cream cheese. You do you get a free frozen yogurt cone with a Unilocal check-​in which made up for the dessert. I guess it’s a good place if you’re watching your diet and still craving «sweets», but I would much rather save my money and not eat sweets than to eat here again.

I love all of Sugarless deLite’s great products and their always adding new items which you can count on to be of the highest quality. They carry not only sugar free and other specialty items but they only sell the best quality. I recently had a friend over who tasted some chocolate malt balls we had out for snack food and they commented on how good they tasted, the chocolate better than your average malt ball-​that is the kind of quality you can count on when buying from Sugarless deLite. You can try new things without worrying that they will be bland or taste «sugar-​free». I tried for the first time the Gullon sugar-​free fiber cookies and the no-​sugar added chocolate cream sandwich cookies, a new addition to the products offered, and they are so excellent. The fiber cookies, like tea biscuits, were soft and yummy and the sandwich cookies had fabulous chocolate cream between my favorite «Maria» style wafers. I love all the products they offer and all the new items to sample and try.

Wow this place is awesome!!! They have delicious treats and candies that are low in sugar and gluten free and taste so delicious. The man working there is so kind and was very accommodating to what I was looking for. He put together a box of delicious mini peanut butter cups, caramel chocolates and my favorite the white chocolate almond bark (the best dessert I have ever had). The very nice man working there also let me sample a cheesecake brownie which was also so amazing and a few other samples as well! I am so happy I found this cute little store and will for sure be back. Everything they have looks so delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try more of what they have to offer. Great place if your looking for treats for a special occasion!!!

After looking for ingredients to make sugar free and locarb sweets I finally decided to find a place that sold them to see if I’d actually eat them before spending money on a bunch of ingredients not knowing how it would turn out. Sugarless Delite did not let me down! Everyone in the store was very informative and helpful and they had many samples to try. I ended up buying the no carb sugar free brownies, and the Sierra Delite trail bars. My husband is in love with the brownies and we went back today (a week after my initial visit) and got a box of their cheesecake brownies, some jalapeño cheddar crackers and some locarb hamburger buns. Definitely glad to know this place isn’t far from our house and they make great desserts for those trying to watch carbs and sugar but still would like to occasionally have something indulgent.

Very good angel food ice cream. Very helpful and friendly staff. They sell bulk sugar substitutes as well, and have pies, cakes and yogurts too.

I have a lot of pregnant friends — i don’t know why a good chunk of them they have gestational diabetes so throwing a baby shower is … HARD WITH NO CHOCOLATE! But this place — made my baby shower possible! The sugarless items are so good and moist! This place is diabetic low carb heaven. Ladies watch out — cause there is no stopping us with those low carb sugar free brownies!

Today we bought the most yummy cookies from this store, we were bringing to Grandpa in CA but, we ate them all they are so good. The German Chocolate cake was delicious as well. My daughter always order this cookies from
San Francisco were she lives, she reallly likes Sugarless de Lite. The best thing is that all the products are low carb and sugar free, perfect for my husband and Granpa
I always refer my friends that suffer Diabetes to go to this store for their cookies and Cakes the products are yummy and the service is always great!

Came in looking for low carb bread options, and was very pleased with the friendly service! Rick and his staff were so helpful and sold me and my husband on some low carb tortillas, BBQ sauce, and 1 Carb hamburger buns.
They gave us samples up front so we could decide what tasted best to us. If you are craving sweets, they have a great selection of sugar free fresh baked desserts. I tried the Half Brownie/​Half Cheesecake, and it was too good to be true…

I love this place. I needed to limit my sugar intake… And I was afraid that all sugar free foods would taste awful compared to the normal versions. However, I remembered this place from when I was younger and It wasn’t what I was expecting from sugarless foods. Now I can eat my favorite sweets and not worry about over doing it on the sugar. The ice cream is to die for… And the candies are delicious. I would recommend this to everyone. Not just if you are watching sugar.

I have started the keto diet and was so happy to have found this place! They were very nice and helpful once I told them my dietary restrictions. I bought 4 of their chocolate brownies with nuts and they were TO DIE FOR. They had many special goodies for Valentine’s Day as well– huge plus. I will be back many times.

I researched this store because my friend is a diabetic, but loves cheesecake brownies. Please I wanted to try a few items myself just to see if the taste of sugar-​free desserts were as good as their counter parts. First trying to locate this place was horrible!!! It’s location isn’t easy to find wIthaca or without GPS (as we called the store for directions only to get turned around in the parking lot of stores. Once we finally found the store I must say the employees were very helpful. Just to young to give proper directions over the phone. Nonetheless the cheesecake brownie was delicious, however the regular cheesecake was very dry.

An absolutely fantastic store chock full of items that those who avoid sugar but still need «sweet» things. Whether you are diabetic or on the «no flour, no sugar» lifestyle, you will find more than you could ever imagine at Sugarless deLite.
The store smells amazing when you walk in, because they are baking their bakery items fresh daily. They can usually let you sample something, and the customer service is very friendly but not at all pushy.
For this man, who doesn’t avoid sugar but looks for sugarless items for his wife, I was blown away by the homemade sugarless brownies. My first trip was today, and I grabbed a couple of them, along with sugarfree Vines, Jelly Belly, and gummy bears. I will be bringing my wife by soon so she can grab exactly what she needs.

I finally visited this place for the first time out of curiosity. I can’t tell you how many times my eyes glared to this establishment’s direction every time I drive along Campbell Rd. «Sweet treats… sugarless? Hm…» I would ponder to myself.
It was just today when I first visited because I had a bit of free time to spare to just go to random places… like Sugarless deLite! Upon walking in, the owner immediately welcomed me and asked if I have ever been there before. I told him my answer and he was very informative about the items they sell and was nice about letting me sample some random deliciousness they sell!
You gotta try their frozen yogurt, by the way. You may think that at almost half the calories cut in half as opposed to regular frozen yogurt, flavor would be compromised — in this case it didn’t. It was actually pretty darn tasty. I didn’t wind up purchasing it though. I decided to go with probably one of the unhealthy items they sell, which were their chocolate turtle varieties. My sweet tooth was craving a little something that should only be consumed in moderation. Two of the turtles, after doing my research on their website is 190 for two pieces. YIKES! But hey, it’s all good. If it’s tasty, calories shouldn’t bite. Unfortunately, these little treats had a very unpleasant taste to it — like they were old and have been sitting there for a long time.
I also tried their 70 calorie snack packs which were jam packed with fiber. Totally forgot the name of the brand, but let’s just say I had to go to the bathroom shortly after consuming one serving of those (Disregard the TMI, but that’s really how much fiber it had!)
My only critique was the stale chocolate turtles and the hefty pricing. It’s not cheap, but I guess there’s a price to pay when you want to go healthy… er

Guess what, everything either does not have sugar in it or so little it does not count.

They sell sugar free candies that are hard to find anywhere else! They also have sugar free frozen yogurt! Most of the time the owner is on site. So worth your trip diabetic or not!

Owner is super friendly and informative! Toured the store and had us try a few delicious samples. Recommend!

I liked the concept of the place. Low carb and sugar free products for all of you diabetics and carb watchers. There’s many cool sugar free items to choose from. I tried the flourless sugar free brownie which tasted very good. It was almost fudgelike in texture with very deep chocolate flavor.
I’ll stop by here frequently to re-​up on my PB2.

I’ve visited Sugarless Delite a number of times since my first, and it just keeps getting better. I spoke to the owner recently regarding my concern about maltitol in so many products. He steered me towards some of the refrigerated pies that were sweetened with aspartame and/​or sucralose; I took home a coconut pie that was delicious.
Most of all, though, I just LOVE the frozen dessert product that’s «yogurt-​like». I don’t know if it actually qualifies as froyo, as it’s lactose free, gluten free, sugar free, fat free etc., and the primary sweetener is diabetic-​friendly oligofructose (no maltitol!). It’s very satisfying, both in texture and taste, and it’s even a pretty good value at less than $ 0.40 per ounce. They need to seriously consider partnering with some of the locally owned froyo places that don’t currently have any «no-​no» flavors in a cross-​promotion deal; seems that it would be a win for everyone.
Sugarless Delite will continue to be a regular stop for me, especially when summertime arrives.
