I am in LOVE with their happy hour(3 – 7 pm everyday). It makes the bill oh so cheap while allowing me to shamelessly drink and eat to my hearts desire. Each mini pizza is $ 5 and their sangria is $ 4. As an appetizer, get the flatbread trio with all 3 dipping sauces. You won’t regret it and it’s only a $ 3 regret if you end up not liking it. For entrees, you can make any pizza into a mini pizza, or you can opt to make your own. Either way, you really can’t go wrong. We got the pesto e pollo white pizza and tre carni red pizza. They were good — but nothing too special. If you need a healthy option, go with the Greek salad. It was refreshing and the dressing was on point. Service was also super good — theyre all young perky people so that always helps to make any dining experience more enjoyable. Overall, a great place for happy hour! Not sure if it’s worth the non happy hour prices, but definitely worth trying out.

Sitting in the restaurant watching my friends eat. First they gave my root beer to someone else, then they gave everyone their pizzas. I guess being first to order in my office group of people was the scarlet letter. I never did get my pizza. I have been here a few times before with our office group but won’t be recommending it anymore.

I want to like this place. I love pizza and it’s close to my apartment. I’ve been to Naples and it’s not at all what I experienced in Neopolitan pizza. First of all the cheese is Parmesan. They told me you have to request mozzarella? Strange? Too many other options for this style pizza. Will stick with Dough or Cane Rosso.

Just finished lunch and overall good meal. Came on a Saturday at noon — no line. Ordered a 12″ tri meat and kids meal — both came out fast. 12″ had good amounts of meat. Good crust. Hearty. Kids meal came with a drink and very small cup of gelato(one of those sampling cups you find at Central Market soup section). Gelato(Tahitian Vanilla) is delicious. Restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms. Service was attentive and prompt. I’m personally not sure why they don’t just let you pick up the food and refill your drinks yourself, but the waiters were nice and professional.

The first person who greeted us explained the process and the menu and overall made us feel welcome. We ordered and our BBQ pollo pizza arrived shortly after hot and fresh. Food was good, atmosphere was trendy for pizza place. Apparently Wednesday nights are busy here, but the service is still quick.

We celebrated my grandson’s 7th birthday at Spin’s in Richardson and what a treat! The staff was very nice, polite and accommodating; just like their pizza & gelato! It was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Since I am gluten-intolerant, I ordered a 7″ GF crust with prosciutto, spinach & fig marmalade topping… DELICIOUS! The gelato was yummy as I always have dessert first! Can’t wait to come for pizza again soon!

Coming from the East Coast, my expectations for Italian food are very high. This place is a total airball on my food experience. I ordered the Mini Mia combo which I got the Primavera pie and the Tomato Basil Soup. First, the tomato basil soup was very bland. At some points, I couldn’t even taste the tomatoes in the soup. It wasn’t until I had to drench the soup in crushed red pepper to receive the taste. Up next came the Primavera pie. The pie was very average for my taste. Compared to other pizzas I’ve tasted, very bland. Sure the toppings and everything were there, but, I just did not feel any taste or love into the pie. On the east coast, when people make their pizzas, I can see their heart in the pizza. Here, I did not see that one bit. Overall, would I come back here? No. Honestly, I feel pizza chains like Pie Five or Blaze are better than this place; or at least they’re cheaper.

Great choices for pizza that aren’t just your conventional«pepperoni», though it is an option. They have gluten free crust, it’s pretty good. Over all the food is good, wine and drink choices are great. They could do a better job of bussing tables. Even when it’s relatively slow, tables are still stacked with plates and covered in crumbs when trying to find a pace to sit.

Some of the best gluten-free pizza EVER! The BBQ Pineapple Chicken is one of my favorites. Their spinach salad is really good too.

I was in town on a business trip and worked late. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. This is a nice looking restaurant and expected it to be pricey. I was caught of guard when I saw that they did takeout! I order the stuffed Meatball(actually two) and it was outstanding. The sauce had a little bite to it, which made it more desirable. The cheese was an added bonus as I cut into it. As I waiting a short time for takeout, I saw that they also had gelato(don’t know how I missed it), but had to get some of that too! I would have given them 5-stars if they remembered the utensils. Definitely warrants a return trip… maybe even tomorrow!

I had the mini combo, perfect for dinner or a big lunch. Had the spinach and goat cheese salad and the primavera pizza with carmelized onions instead of red. Both were excellent, but note that crustini are mushrooms which I ended up picking off. Staff was very attentive at the beginning of the meal, then disappeared. Note — ask for more napkins early. The white sangria was sweet and refreshing. Tried the red and it has a weird aftertaste. The fruit was great, especially the sugar dipped grapes. A little noisy, but good pizza in a place I wouldn’t expect. Didn’t like the flatbread dip. The bread was good, but the dip had a lemony flavor, which didn’t go.

This is another one of those places trying to produce quality food quickly for the business professional on a quick lunch break(semi fast food) It’s decent. Salad was good. It needs a full bar, not just beer & wine. The flavor of the pizza wasn’t as good as my other favourite Neapolitan Pizza places. It was was ok, but that could have just been my wrong choice. The blood orange sangria was super tasty, but not very strong. You’re totally safe having it on your lunch break. It’s a fairly cool vibe in there. I gave it three stars because it didn’t suck and I’d go back if I’m in a hurry. It totally beats chipotle, pie 5, and any drive through.

I still like the food. The Caesar salad and the meat trio pizza are delicious. The last two times we have gone, it has been unorganized. We went on a Friday. It was busy, which is great to see, but we were told in line that there would be a 30 minute table wait. By the time we checked out a minute later, there was a table. This was a positive for us, but a few people left due to the announcement, and maybe some sort of accurate table system could help. When we were seated, the table was quickly wiped down, but the cloth was not clean, and it smelled, which was annoying. So we went back about a week ago… later. It was not as crowded, but once again unorganized. We ordered soup, a Caesar salad, and a pizza. The Mr. ordered a sangria, which was small for what you pay. The pizza came out first, even though we asked for the soup an salad first. The gentleman who brought it out noticed and ran to get everything, but it make the table crowded. Plus, the people behind the counter had plenty of free time to get it out beforehand. I may try the happy hour or take out, but they need to fix these issues before I will come regularly.

Glad to have a Neapolitan pizza in Richardson! SPIN is awesome and worth trying. They are located at the old sushi restaurant. I came in before 6pm and the happy hour was still going on. For the happy hour you can get a mini pizza for $ 5 and much more. I got the fig spinach pizza and the flatbread trio. The pizza was great and the crust was even better. The fig does add a little bit of sweetness but it’s not too bad. The flatbread comes with three types of spreads. The flatbread was a little salty by itself but the spreads were just mediocre. For the mini pizza you can get the signature pizza or build your own. I forgot to mention that the managers/owners are super friendly. A man ordered a cheese pizza but the pizza came out a little smaller than usual so they added another one for him. Not only did they do this but they were kind to others as well.

Nice large seating area both outdoor and indoor with great signage. You walk in to a large pizza oven and a large well placed menu board with clear glass wall where they prep the dough. Went with my girlfriend and had meat trio pizza, large ceasar salad and sangria. The pizza is very well made and lots of flavor. salad was great in quality and flavor as well. Servers were great and very efficent. I have been here a few times now and the food is always very consistent.

first off as you can see from the pics I ate almost a whole pie my self. But it was not quite what I expected. I was expecting a pie cooked in a more traditional napalitano style. aka higher temps shorter bake time. and the second thing was I ordered a margarita so I was expecting fresh mozzarella and not a dusting if finely shredded cheese. but if you have no preconceived notions this is great pizza, thin not too crispy. very good. I also ordered the trio flathead dip, now that was fantastic! the dough had been docked so it stayed thin with salt rosemary and olive oil. the lemon ricotta dip, roasted pepper goat cheese were very good but the white bean hummus was great. all in all very good. I wish there was one in Philadelphia!

I tried Spin for the first time tonight. The surprise for me was how good the whole wheat crust was. I’d always been hesitant to try a pizza with a whole wheat crust, but Spin did not disappoint. The pepperoni was flavorful and the chicken and pesto was a good combination. Looking forward to having them as leftovers this week.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The food is a little pricey, but its so delicious that it is worth it. We «made» our own pizzas, selecting toppings off a list and then anxiously awaiting their arrivals to our table. We then got to taste each other’s and playfully argue over which was better(mine was). While we waited, we got the eggplant parm and the lemon ricotta spread to share. I strongly advise not doing this. Not because both weren’t awesome, because they were, but because it’s a TON more food than it looks like and you won’t make it through your meals. You can choose to get the eggplant with a little side salad and truly make that a meal all on its own. The lemon ricotta spread and breads are also a heaping portion and there’s no way to make it through if you order more food. The ricotta is exceptional though, and I seriously tried to figure out if it would be okay to reheat it if I shoved some in what I can only describe as the cutest to-go box I’ve ever seen. While I JUST mentioned to not go crazy with your order, definitely make sure you get gelato. There is one flavor, which I sadly can’t remember the name of, that you cannot describe by the name. I asked the woman at the counter what was in it. She just replied with«amazing things». Sold. It was incredible, too. While it is too pricy for us to go all the time, I definitely want to go back to try the other things on the menu.

I’m needing to try this place out more. But as it stands, I’m giving it 3 stars(surprisingly, since I had initially hoped to give this place a higher rating, due to lackluster competition throughout Dallas). I had high expectations from this place since the reviews seemed to be consistently good and the Neapolitan-style pizzas seem legit via the pictures. I even liked the menu, with a mix of American and Italian tastes. And so, when I arrived, I figured I would get a pie that leans more to the Italian taste buds — prosciutto, spinach and fig/onion marmalade, which is a pizza bianca or white pizza that has no tomato sauce. And immediately, the first thing I noticed was the crust. While it’s made properly, I found the crust too salty, and oddly more akin to a pretzel crust for that reason. Maybe they had accidentally over salted my crust, or maybe the crust was just intended to work better with a tomato sauce-based pizza rather than for the pizzas biancas. I had given a pretty negative review to an Italian-style pizza place in Deep Ellum because of their toppings being not so fresh — but that place does the crust a lot better than Spin does. But I’m afraid that if Spin lowers the salt content, then the dough itself would be too bland. In other words, I think Spin is gonna have to rework the formula for the dough, but it’s a franchise — so I doubt they will. Speaking of the toppings, they were just okay — and I don’t know if I can say it’s better or worse than the other aforementioned place in Deep Ellum, since my pizza was a simple one. The prosciutto was not cooked with the pizza(probably a good thing since it would make it even saltier) and it was slightly a thicker cut than it should have been. It also was layered on the pizza after the pizza itself was sliced, which I thought was odd since it required that I use the knife to cut it again. The spinach was fine. The fig/onion marmalade was good — but I should have asked them to be more liberal in placing the marmalade throughout the pizza since it would have helped with the salt content of the crust(which shouldn’t have been that high in the first place anyways). I’m going to try another pizza again, with tomato sauce, to see if my opinion changes — but this seems to be a good place to check out for happy hour anyways. The blood orange sangria on the menu looks tempting, considering that I have not seen that anywhere else. Note to the Company: If you really want to make an Italian happy, you should add an espresso machine. And dessert pizzas with nutella and caramelized bananas or berries or something else along the same line. Just saying.

DAMN. GOOD. PIZZA! Came here to celebrate a co-worker’s birthday. Upon walking in, I was immediately impressed with the design and layout of the restaurant. After examing the menu, I settled on the mini mia special. Thie mini mia includes a 6″ pizza and a salad/soup for $ 9.45. For your pizza, you can pick from one of their signature pizzas, or you can«spin your own pizza», and choose any two toppigs. Tip: Go with the signature pizza to get the most bang for your buck. If you’re buying a 12″ pizza, you’re going to pay full price. A pepperoni is $ 11.95 and a shrimp scampi is $ 14.95. However, if you’re getting the mini mia, you get to choose from any of their signature pizzas for the same cost. A great deal! Back to the menu. They had a WIDE selection of toppings. I counted 6 cheeses, 7 meats, and an array of roasted/normal veggies. I particulary appreciated the more exotic choices of toppings that are above and beyong the standard pepperoni and sausage. A couple of items that caught my attention were: prosciutto, sopressata salami, arugula, pinenuts, pepperoncini, pesto, crushed glazed pecans, sundried tomato relish, and my personal favorite, fig onion marmalade. The salad options were eqaully impressive. After a short battle in my head, I settled on the chicken and goat cheese pizza(don’t worry Prosciutto & Spinaci & Fig Marmalade, I’m coming for you next time). I opted for my crust to be wheat(extra $ 0.50, and they also have an option for gluten-free for an extra $ 3.00) When my food was brought out, I was very eager to try my first bite as it smelled and looked glorious. My kudos to the pizza makers for understanding the importance of the small details like the roasted garlic olive oil glaze on the curst. They also added just the right amount of italian seasonings to give the pizza that zip factor. Every single bite was delicious and I cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend trying this place out! Bonus: They have some solid options for craft beers on tap. I made a mental note to come back for happy hour, as I saw that they had Rahr & Sons Blonde(one of my local favs). In addition to beer, they also had wines on tap. Definitely can’t go wrong with either one.
