I found myself stuck at work with no lunch, so I thought I’d give these guys a try. Big mistake! First of all, their flyer says free delivery with a $ 15 purchase– that is not true. You have to purchase a minimum of $ 20 for delivery. I can live with that, but it’s false advertising. I ordered my food through GrubHub at 11:39– the system said I should have my food between 12:35 — 12:45. At 12:50 and still no food, I called the restaurant to check on it– the guy I talked to(no name) said it would be at least another 40 mins to an hour, because he had just started cooking it. He then said«it’s the manager’s fault, he just gave me the order». Not sorry, not trying to make anything right, no nothing. Just, «Oh, well, that’s how it is.» He truly did not care. At a few minutes after 1, my food shows up, and the driver apparently has NOIDEA what is going on or even why I am upset that it just got here, and he said he didn’t know why the guy on the phone told me he had just started cooking the food, etc etc. Great communication there, folks. I haven’t even tried the food yet, I’m kinda scared to in case the first guy I talked to on the phone did something to it. But I can easily see that the curry does not have the extra basil that was ordered– there’s practically no basil at all. If I could give this restaurant less than 1 star, I would. The best food in the world doesn’t matter if your customer service is SOBAD you can’t even get the food in a reasonable time, or get problems resolved when you call! I have to eat it because I have no lunch– but I WILLNEVERORDERFROMTHISAWFULPLACEAGAIN!!! Too bad it’s too late to take the tip back! Update on food– The Panang Curry is runny and has little flavor– all you can taste are salt and hot. There is none of the characteristic sweetness usually associated with coconut curries. Save your money– you can get the same taste by dumping a bottle of hot sauce and a salt shaker on your food.

Meh. Poor to Average place. Décor is ok. Food was not good. I had Red Curry with Chicken and wife had Basil Fried Rice. Curry was quite spicy but the chicken did not taste good and had a strange grey appearance. Fried Rice was better but a little bland. Service was ok. Received separate bills without being asked which was odd. Seems popular enough(50% full on Friday lunchtime, so I suppose it could have been busier). Maybe just a one off but won’t be rushing to return. There are better Thai options in this area.

Nothing special. Food really tastes bad. The ambience is not so great and the entire place smells weird. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken. I hardly saw chicken pieces. Will not recommend to any of my friends.

Horrible experience, never again. I ordered delivery via grub hub around 6pm promising an eta of 7:00 — 7:15. I called around 7:30 to get it pushed back to 8:25. Food came after 9pm, almost 3 hours later! At least if the good was good, I wouldn’t be as frustrated, but it was not worth my 27 bucks w tip. Oh how I wish I hadn’t pretipped the delivery guy. My fried catfish was no longer crispy and tasted quite fishy. Crab rangoon became rather soggy, not to my surprise. 1 star for the Thai tea, at least that tasted right.

This is based on one visit and one entrée. Green curry is a basic Thai staple for me. I must say I was really impressed with theirs. The curry sauce had a great flavor and the chicken was very tender. I will definitely go back and try other things.

My wife and I had a great experience the first time we ate here, so we returned to see if it was an aberration. It was not. The food and service were as good as the first time — excellent! The portions of food were large and the prices were reasonable. We added Sawadika Zone to our list of restaurants.

Nothing great to mention about the place other than the quick service while the place was practically empty during dinner hour. My wife ordered pad kee mow with tofu and eggs and ended up getting cold pad kee mow with no eggs and tofu. Spice level 4 was close to mild. The person from below reviews who drives 140 miles for this food should know there are much better place than this thai restaurant. I wouldn’t go to this restaurant even if it was next door.

I love this place! The fried dumplings and corn patties are the greatest. I drive 140 miles, round trip, just to eat here. The food is so fresh and always steaming hot. My only complaint is, no matter how much I beg for«extra spicy», it’s always med. spicy. I guess some wimps complained about the spicyness and ruined it for everyone else. Thanks alot, wimps!

This is a small little Thai restaurant located in a Richardson strip center. The atmosphere is «upscale cozy» and dark and the food is excellent! Attended a friend’s birthday party here and they closed down the restaurant for our private event. They have a good assortment of regular and vegetarian dishes. I tried a couple of different appetizers one of which were fried little egg rolls which were wonderful. The main entrees… oh my gosh! I don’t even know where to start. They had all the different types of entrée dishes spead out on the bar, buffet style… pad kee mow, mango chicken, some type of curry dish… and many more. They just kept bringing out all types of food! It was delicious! The manager and owner were both there and couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming to all the guests making sure everyone got enough to eat and asking how we liked it. I wouldn’t call myself a connessieur of Thai food, but this little restaurant makes me wished I lived in Richardson!

3.5 stars Solid place overall. I work just down the road, so this place is great for lunch. I’ve now sampled a few of their dishes, and everything I’ve had has been good. Their pad kee mow, curries, and mango chicken are my go-to’s. Their prices are also very fair. Most of their lunch specials cost $ 7.95 which includes their soup of the day. Not bad at all. Is this place the«best» Thai I’ve ever had? No, but they’re good if you’re in the area and you’re looking for some decent Thai. My only complaint would be that this appears to be a family-run operation, so there’s usually one or two people who act as the host, waitor, bar-tender, etc., so sometimes service can be slow. Nothing too out of hand though. Definitely worth a shot during lunch hour.

Me and my friend went for lunch this afternoon. My friend ordered red chicken curry lunch and I ordered Spicy basil chicken fried rice. I specified my rice to be very very very spicy. The waitress said ok. My friend loved his food. Me on the other hand, did not enjoy my FR. No basil flavor, bland and totally mild. I asked the lady for some. thai chilis in fish sauce. She comes back with some weird tasting sauce and other container with fish sauce with some thai chilli seeds floating in it but no pepper chunks, giving an excuse that they ran out of Thai peppers(in Thai restaurant) They have no courtesy to check back, if we need anything or how’s everything. I had to look back and make an eye contact for her to come and refill the water. She brings the check and asked if we need any boxes, I refused but my friend wanted a to go box. We are waiting and waiting but no one comes back with the to go box, so I finally get up and ask for a box. So at this point I tried to talk to a male attendant that I have something to say about the service. He said it’s ok. So I asked him confusingly to clarify if he cares to hear me out and he said«I don’t care». I turned around saying that we won’t ever be back. Over all their attitude was WEDON’T CARE. I would welcome restaurant’s response to this review.

My friend had a groupon a while back and we decided to check it out. Of course we tried the pad see yew and yellow chicken with rice. That place was not as bad as we thought. Typically at Thai restaurants, I order the pad Thai or pad see yew just to evaluate and it is something familiar. The environment was dark but it looked authentic. The staff was great and the food came out in a timely fashion. Would come back again!

Deplorable service — and not just once. Been going there for years. Rude in general so we mostly get take out, but not good on the phone either. Good food though. Just don’t leave any tips until they replace the wait staff.

I absolutely love their Yellow Curry with chicken. It is by far the best I’ve ever had. The wonderful ladies that work here are quick to sit you and take your order. The food is fresh and comes out in a timely manner. I’ve never had a problem with waiting to be seated. I had been coming here for years until I we moved sadly. But I always comes here when we come back home. Even after a year of being away the ladies still remember me and already know what I want to order. Love love LOVE this place! I will definitely be stopping by when we come home in Jan.

The food here is great. Small restaurant so it does get crowded during the lunch hour but it is to be expected. My favorite is the Pad Ta Lay. It is a flat noodle with vegetables, meat of choice and spicy sauce. Delicious! Service is always great. I will most definitely be coming back. Check out groupon too, sometimes it is listed!

Pretty good food, nice atmosphere, polite staff, quickly prepared. I’m honestly not sure why this place has so many haters giving 1 star reviews. It’s not a traditional Thai place. They had top 40 country radio playing. But compared to how filthy some of the other local Thai places are this one is clean and has a good energy about it. And my food was on par w other pretty good places in the area.

I have been avoiding this place because of their 3-star rating, but someone gave us a Groupon to use so why not. Honestly though, this place isn’t bad at all and is worth going again. First off, wHy iS tHe SiGn LiKe tHiS? It really makes the place seem even less credible. However, don’t let that fool you because the inside is actually pretty nice. The manager was very kind to us the entire time too. We ordered beef pad see ew, yellow curry, pineapple fried rice, and Singapore noodles. We did have to order dinner portions even though we went for lunch since we were using the Groupon. That being said, portions were very generous, and the food was not bad at all! We all really enjoyed our dishes. We also got mango sticky rice at the end. Yum! Pricing wise, it’s average. It’s around $ 10 or a little more for a typical dinner size. I’ve been to places cheaper but there are some that are more expensive too.

The place is small but its quaint and has the authentic Thai feeling to it with its dark wood furniture and Thai décor. I believe all the employees are Thai as well. When I come for lunch, I’m always quickly seated. It’ll get busy but never too busy where I’m waiting to be seated. I’ve never been for dinner but that’s because when I go for lunch, they give you so much food, you already have dinner! Expect to ask for a to go box! My go to’s are typically the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, or Pad See Iew.(Yes, I love my noodles and my carbs lol) Lunch specials come with a small bowl of soup. Unfortunately it does not come with an eggroll or anything but you won’t miss it with the amount of food they serve you. Food is always on point for me. Not too sweet or greasy or anything! yum yum… They know most of their customers are on their lunch break so they’re quick and its easy in easy out. They are in a very busy shopping strip with other popular lunch spots so parking may be a difficult. Just be patient and drive slowly! You’ll eventually find one I promise.
