I purchased the Groupon and went in for my appointment. I only waited for about 10 min for the doctor to finish up with a patient. They brought me right in and got started. The doctor was very nice and made me feel comfortable, he gave me tips to help keep my eyes from getting any worse. The whole exam took only about 20 min and I was done. The ladies in the front were very nice and helped me choose a frame that looked good on me. I didn’t purchase the glasses today so I left without spending any money after the Groupon. The $ 200 towards the price of glasses is actually good for up to 6 months so I will be back to get them. I would highly recommend!

With the groupon my total would have been $ 238 without the groupon my total would have been $ 238. They say the $ 200 is for special things they do to the glasses BEWARE!

Made an appointment with them because of Groupon I bought. Both men in the place were very professional and got right to my eye exam after paperwork was finished. Dr completed exam and got me out to look for glasses. I wasn’t in the store over an hour! How nice! Many I have gone to are so busy you feel like cattle. I will use them next year.

Even if you purchase the Groupon, absolutely do NOT get lured in by this business. There’s a reason why they need a Groupon to get more patients to come to their business.
I have never been treated so disrespectfully as a customer and a patient before. I was there just to get a normal eye exam so that I can get new contacts. Instead, the optometrist made me feel inferior. I’m currently a medical student at an osteopathic school. When he inquired, he blatantly said to me «that’s not a real medical school.» As a fellow healthcare professional, I thought that he would have treated me with more respect. In the healthcare field, we are all considered equal and vital to the team. Clearly, he thinks he’s superior to those around him. I would never enter his business and treat him disrespectfully. Even more so, as a patient and a customer, I expected a certain standard of care and to be treated with respect.
Furthermore, I was there, because I had purchased the Groupon. Do NOT get lured in. I initially paid $ 50 for the groupon, but there are hidden fees if you want contacts. It’s NOT a deal. I ended up paying $ 110 total for my eye exam. That’s the normal price I would have paid anywhere else. I completely regret my decision coming here. I would have paid more money to have had a better optometrist.
The staff was extremely friendly, but it was the optometrist who was terrible. Heed my warning, do NOT come here. Not only I was treated disrespectfully, I still ended up paying a lot of money for bad service.

Don’t waste your time scheduling an appointment here. I had an appointment with Dr. Benning at 4:15 today. Left work early, drove through heavy traffic from Downtown Dallas arrived exactly at 4:26, 11 minutes late. As I walked in they told me the Dr. had JUST LEFT. They had my phone #, as they called me earlier in the day to reconfirm my appointment. What a waste of my time and effort. I’ve been going here for years, they lost a customer today.
