Overpriced for what you receive. I order a Reuben Sandwich which was a special of the day. It contained two thin slices of corned beef, one slice of swiss cheese, a large amount of cold slaw, and three slices of overly toasted bread. I only managed to eat half and threw the rest away when my husband wouldn’t eat it. The best thing on the plate was the frozen french fries. All of this for $ 15.00. Oh yeah, a Reuben is supposed to have sauerkraut in the sandwich, but this one failed to have any that I could taste. Really disappointed and I will never eat there again.

I can only review what I ate. Rotisserie chicken had a great flavor but dry. Other items may be great, and the chicken would have been, if not for being dry. Nice facilities and wait staff

Dinner was good, I had a fish special. I ordered a chocolate macaroon for dessert. It tasted rancid, they took it off my bill, but no one other than the waitress came to talk to me. Ultimately no one could tell me why it tasted so badly, when I left I noticed more than half were removed from the case. I believe it was so old it turned, which makes me question how fresh anything actually is. Also, I really believe the owner or kitchen staff should have come to talk to me in this situation. Edit: There was definitely an owner or manager clearly discussing our issue with our waitress, but he never came to our table. Some macaroons were removed from the case, as mentioned above leading me to believe they were not fresh. Very disappointing.

Main Street Bistro is my favorite place to have a celebratory drink for big events in my life. Courtney is a fantastic bartender. She remembers me every time and has always treated me with kindness and respect. Her drinks are perfect! Michael is also an amazing bartender. He creates great drinks and makes us feel so welcome. This is our favorite neighborhood bar.

I don’t usually come out on Monday’s but this evening I met my friend for a drink and was pleasantly surprised to find that Courtney was tending bar. Courtney is so kind, very attentive and such a nice breath of fresh air as our bartender. Martinis were awesome. Thanks Courtney. Monday’s might be my new evening out.

I decided to come here for brunch today and realized that I will probably never come back. First of all, our server did not seem very happy to take our orders and was very impolite when we asked about some of the items on the menu. Second, the coffee here is HORRIBLE. I am a huge coffee drinker and usually love any kind of coffee, but the café mocha I ordered here was so terrible that I had to hold my nose to finish it so I wouldn’t waste the $ 3 I spent on it. The only good thing about it was the food I ordered. I ordered the Bistro-Baked French Toast($ 9.25) with a side of breakfast potatoes($ 3) and loved every bite! The portions are very large so I ended up taking the rest of the meal home, so it isn’t overpriced for the amount they give you.

I had to drive by the Liquor Taco sign to get here, but this place is classy. I had the Blue Crab Eggs Benedict! I ate all of it! As far as atmosphere, there were a few ugly people, but it wasn’t distracting. World-class scrambled eggs! There were also cool, Western-style swinging doors by the bathrooms. Five stars!

Their brunch menu is fabulous. Wait — don’t go there… why am I sharing this? I don’t want them to get too crowded. :) Seriously, love the outdoor seating. Go there — enjoy a nice bloody mary and breakfast on the patio — you won’t be disappointed.

Main Street’s happy hour is hands-down the best happy hour in Dallas-Fort Worth. Portions are generous and their house liquors would be considered premium anywhere else. Enjoy the happy hour in moderation but take time to enjoy the menu: shrimp tempura, pork chops, sea bass, lamb chops, and steak are great. There’s no better happy hour in the entire DFW area. Their house brands would be premium brands anywhere else. Enjoy the drinks in moderation but stay for the menu: lamb chops, pork chops, and the various cuts of steak are worth the while for even the most discriminating of palates. They use only the finest cuts and there are no substitutions for meat or vegetables. Quality is paramount. No matter where you live, Main Street Bistro in Richardson is worth the drive.

I’ve been here several times. On my previous visits, it’s been a great little lunch place, with tasty food – probably 3.5 stars. I talked a friend into meeting for coffee and breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 5th and really regretted it. It wasn’t at all crowded. From what I could tell, there were just 2 people working. Neither one seemed particularly interested in ensuring that our needs were met. Both had tasks like cleaning, stocking inventory, and taking care of the facility. After a lengthy wait, we rather curtly told one of the employees were were quite dissatisfied, only to get the«thought someone else was helping you» response. Time for a lesson in how to provide customer service. I’m sure I’ll go again for lunch, but will only go when I have extra time to spare.

Since I went with someone else that paid I let them rate it. I liked my Mediterranean special it was pretty good. I thought it was strange it came with fries. He got a club sandwich with fries to me tasted like seasoned chic fil la fries. The service was fine not amazing. Like everyone else seems to have said he also thought it was overpriced. Honestly we only went here because the Thai thumbz restaurant nearby I wanted to go to had too long of a wait.(:

This place was great and the environment was great too! They have good business and a bakery shop with delicious pastries. I had the sirloin Eggs Benedict i loved the plate but one of my meat got real cold really quick and one of my eggs was cook from the inside already :( I did how ever get a blood marry for brunch that same day, and boy did it give me buzz! overall love the place and the food and the pastries are to die for ! I will be coming back again soon!

I came for dessert but not for meals: — Complimentary garlic toast chips — flavorless butter(dare I say it, but I think it might even be one of those margarine sold in tubs), tastes too greasy — Chocolate bomb — the chocolate could be richer, bolder in taste. With the name like this, I was expecting more dark chocolate, but the cream was more akin to milk chocolate — Strawberry tart — decent. Would prefer a creamier cream, but it’s decent — Ice cream also doesn’t have much flavor except for the powdered cinnamon that was put on top CONCLUSION: This place probably would have better food and pastries than the desserts. Note: Happy hour drinks are good priced and decently made.

We liked this place ver much. True the patio could be cleaner(papers on the ground) but the food was good with a lot of flavors. Plates we chose were all shrimps or sea food based giving the dinner a continuity and progress in the taste(try the shrimps fondue!). Someone may find plates too spicy but I a m sure the chef can make it milder if needed.

Expensive, bad food. Nasty water. The classic eggs Benedict tasted like it have gone bad, just bland and sour. Now my stomach doesn’t feel so good. I would not recommend this place.

This is an adorable place right off the tollway in a cute small plaza. WITH A FULLBAR! I tried their traditional eggs benedict and had a bite of the filet mignon benedict that wasn’t listed on the menu. Overall I wasn’t too impressed. I liked their side sausage links out of everything I tried. There is a courtyard in between this place and Thai Thumbz(delish btw). The waitress my friend and I had was polite although she said she said she remembered us from«last time» but it was our first time there. She kept talking like we were regulars but we didn’t want it to be awkward so my friend just played along! Ha! What… do we all look alike or something? Maybe I’ll go back one day and try something different? If you want awesome brunch though go to YOLKS in downtown Dallas or Cindi’s for somewhere closer to Richardson.

Not good. Like surprisingly not good, considering I have eaten here before several other times. The staff was polite and friendly when’s walked in, but not very attentive. Was literally the only customer here one evening(another couple came in after I had ordered my drink but that was it) and still managed to get my drink refilled by one of the 4 waiters just hanging out maybe 2x while I was there. It mostly sat empty while I waited for my meal after getting 3 potato chip sized slices of garlic bread. Usually have come for lunch with co-workers and enjoyed a sandwich and coffee, but this time stopped by for dinner on my way home. The waitress recommended the bacon-wrapped scallops with asparagus, the special. Not only was it not very good, the price wasn’t listed so I discovered when the check was brought out that it was $ 35. The bacon was chewy instead of crunchy, the scallops had some sort of tiny rock-like bits in them that made me think I was going to crack a tooth after biting into whatever they were a few times, and it was overall just overly salty. The asparagus and corn were okay however. Not sure if the food was all that bad or if it was just my personal taste. Pretty sure the tiny rocky bits were pieces of some shell that should have been made sure to be removed… Oh well. After not finishing the meal, I at least figured that their crème brûlée is good since I have eaten there before and enjoyed it along with their sandwiches several times, so I asked for some. …All sold out. :( Will maybe go back with co-workers at some point for lunch if they are buying, but never going for dinner ever again.

Came here for lunch and was pleased with the food and dessert. Staff was attentive and friendly. I will need to come back here for their brunch!
