Dr. Meymand has been giving me physical therapy for my TMJ disorder at the recommendation of my dentist. She really surprised and impressed me with not only how knowledgeable she is about problems with that joint, but how much time she is willing to spend with each patient taking care of them. Usually when you go to a medical appointment, after the first visit they try to get you in and out as soon as possible (which I understand!). But Dr. Meymand takes the time for a full course of therapy each time and explains what she is doing, answers all your questions, etc. She also went the distance by ordering differently sized electrodes and ice packs for me when it turned out the ones on hand were a little too large for my face. The office is also willing to answer logistics questions via email. The only tip I would give to new patients is that if you’re the first appointment in the morning and you are a cash patient or have a copay, it is usually easiest to pay beforehand rather than after the appointment, because the in the early morning the front desk is manned by the massage therapist, who may be with a patient later. But she and the rest of the staff are very nice and help you with all arrangements. I’ve heard them coordinating transportation for accident victims to the office, even!

I’ve been a long-​time patient of both Doctors, Bahadori and Meymand, and would trust them with my health for for a long time to come. They have a keen sense of care and attention to detail that most doctors may not put forth and it helps build trust and value as a patient. I feel comfortable and that is a big weight off of my shoulders in being able to put my health in these capable hands.
