Decent Cleaners

I’ve been using Decent Cleaners for several years (before they were in their current location but in the same business complex.) I’ve only had a couple of problems such as my clothes smelling like chemicals and having to be cleaned again and shrinking a couple of items. But I overlooked them as I would expect after a few years not everything is perfect.
Last Friday night I pulled up at 6:53 according to my iPhone, car clock, and the cable TV at home (I called my husband to check the time too). There were two people working and a customer at the counter. When I pulled up, one employee went over and locked the door. So I still got out and walked to the door with my clothes to drop off (I also had a pick up). I pulled on the door to make sure I wasn’t mistaken and maybe she had unlocked it instead of locking it. Nope, it was locked and they all stared at me. I mean I was in my sweats and not looking so hot, but just a 40-​year-​old mom with some clothes arriving before closing time stated clearly on the door as 7pm.
I picked up my clothes the next day and dropped my others off at another cleaners. I don’t recommend Decent Cleaners if you value convenience or customer service.

For convenience, I decided to give this place a shot and will never go back! I brought a bout ½ dozen of my husband’s suits to be dry cleaned. They were on nice, expensive wooden hangers, and I will admit, I was a fool for leaving them. HOWEVER, the person working there told me it was no problem, people bring in hangers all the time and that it was fine. Wanting to be environmentally friendly, I left them with their hangers. Fast forward about a week later, I go to pick them up, and guess what– no hangers! There was a different person working, and she told me that they don’t take clothes with hangers?! I told her what I was told and she basically said someone comes to pick the clothes up and brings them back, and there would be no way of getting them back. So shady! Think twice before taking your nice clothes here! At least we got all the suits back!

This place is on the way to work, so I thought I’d give them a try. Been twice and won’t be back. They broke the zipper on one of my items and weren’t able to remove a stain from another item. When I called to talk to the manager about the zipper, I was told that she is rarely in and that she would call me back. Haven’t heard back. Bad quality, bad service for the price I paid. Don’t recommend.
