I would say that buying a car from here would be a no in the future. I bought a 2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS almost two years ago from this dealer. I have had several issues with this car from the moment I bought it. I thought that I was normal wear and tear from the car, so I didn’t mind fixing it. However I was having an issue with the mechanisms in my driver side door, so I took the car in to have those items fixed. Come to find out, the car door on my Hyundai Sonata is not the car that came with the car. The body shop can’t even find any serial numbers on the car to figure out what kind of car the door came from. Needless to say, this is not normal wear and tear on my car. I have taken fantastic car of my car since I’ve purchased it, but this not having original parts on the car is the straw that broke the camels back. Listed below are the issues that I’ve had with the car since I’ve purchased it in September 2014 (not even a full two years)
— Dry rotted tires (within initial purchase of car)
— Transmission issues (3 – 4 months after purchasing the car)
— Breaks and rotors completely rusted and had to be completely replaced (from initial purchase of car)
— the latch to the gas door was replaced (withing four months of purchasing the car)
— mechanism to roll car windows up stopped working (within one year of purchasing the car)
— door handle broke off
— Driver side door isn’t the original door to the car (from initial purchase)
According to the body shop that is currently fixing my door, they are unable to find any serial numbers to find out what kind of door my car has to even fix the issues.
I would be cautious in purchasing a car from this dealer. This is not a trolling or spam message. I am an actual customer who has had a very unfortunate experience with this dealer in purchasing a quality car.

Started off great with Shawn but he did not fulfill a written agreement we had to provide two new tires for the vehicle purchased. When we went to have the new tires installed, they simply took the newest tires from the car off and replaced them with lower quality new tires. Incredibly sheisty and dishonest of them. Furthermore they assured me and my wife several times that they were mailing our plates for the car, and failed to do so, letting the temp tag expire well past the posted date. Will never do business with again. Steer clear of these guys.

Experience there was great, until I had some experience with the car they sold me.
The headlight was tilted so since it was still under mfg warranty I took it to the Jeep dealership. They said the car had been in an accident so the warranty was void. Autohaus showed me a clean car fax when I bought it, but the Jeep dealership said there’s just no way that they didn’t know it was in an accident. «Anyone who knows a thing about cars knew this was in an accident.» Grrrr…

Great experience. From the start, Shawn was responsive, polite, and easy to deal with. Victor in finance was just as pleasant to deal with. I got a great car at a good price, and the experience was easy.

Yes, you will find good deals at Central Autohaus — they have rock bottom prices. But proceed with caution — I purchased a car here during the summer of 2012. They were honest that the car had been in an accident; however, the work done to fix this was sub-​par. Now I am in the market for a new car, and my trade-​in value is less than it should be. Multiple dealers have pointed out a poor paint job on the bumper AND hail damage on the roof (not disclosed during the purchase). I should have done a better job of getting the car checked out. If you purchase, make sure you take the car to a mechanic AND body/​paint shop first to make sure you won’t have these issues later. There’s a reason my car was priced as low as it was when I originally purchased. Will not return. I hate to leave a poor review but I would rather people were aware so they could take the steps necessary to make a prudent purchase.

Got a decent price on the vehicle but the stars stop there. Things were promised and they didn’t follow through. Called Shawn numerous time with no answer once my plates came in which I was to pickup with receiving an item for my vehicle. Never had chance to pickup plates since they were mailed to me… assuring not to meet up face to face to be questioned about things promised by Shawn. Good price… subpar service/​not keeping your word, in my eyes.

They seemed nice enough and the prices look great online, but once you get in the cars you see why. Sort of.
The white 2013 Mazda3 sport had to have a jumps start «because it had been sitting a while», it smells of mildew and when I looked in the back seat I saw the floorboards were puddles! No joke.
The 2010 black Mini Cooper had to have a jump start as well from «sitting too long», the emergency brake light was on, but the brake was not engaged, I checked over and over.
I was told a Honda Civic was an EX model, it was listed as an EX, the key ring said EX. They must hope people are stupid. It didn’t have the upgraded sound or the sunroof. Turns out it’s the LX (not a base model but close) they just took those letters off the back so they could try to sell it as one.

This was THE BEST car buying experience I’ve had in quite a while. I must say pulling up I wasn’t too sure just based on where it was but boy am I glad we stayed! Ray was our salesperson and he was wonderful! He was so nice and not pushy at all! Even the salespeople we weren’t working directly with were so polite. We also worked with Ellis who made our financing process easy and seamless. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and will absolutely go back again for my next vehicle!

Shawn was a very good salesman.

Wonderful, friendly service that recently sold me my exciting new car! They are reasonable with their prices and incredibly relatable. They understand what people need and what they are looking for when purchasing a car. No sneaky motives or rugs being pulled from underneath you, but more importantly, they are genuine. I never received a sleazy car salesman vibe.
Ray, a.k.a the sweetest man on earth, told me straight up that the Sorrento was too big of a car for a little tyke like myself. Bear in mind that the Sorrento was significantly more expensive than the car I ended up purchasing. He compromised a big sale for what he thought would be tailored to my tastes and well, I guess, my size as well.
Considering it was around 5pm on New Year’s Eve when crazy-​on-​a-​whim new car initiative hit me, I wasn’t able to provide all the necessary paperwork to drive away with the car. Nevertheless, they never became antsy as the hours rolled into New Year’s Eve prime time hours, and fully trusted that I would return for the car the following Monday. Now, I’m fancy in my new car. New year. New car.

Worst service ever. Sonny openly admitted he’d been fired before and he needs to be fired again. He forgot everything he said he would do, lied to cover it up and everytime I called to try and deal with someone else I couldn’t get anywhere. I bought a car that was much lower there and the discount was not worth it. My car has been in the shop 3 times in the three months I’ve owned it. I told the dealership where I’m getting my car serviced where I bought the car and he shook his head. They are awful, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I was in the market for a car when I came across their website and found that they were selling a 2011 Hyundai Elantra, which are hard to come by. I sent an email asking about it, which I received a prompt response saying that I needed to contact Ellis. I called and talked to him and asked for me to stop by the next day to look at the car. We agreed that I would stop in sometime during the morning hours, but he stated that he wouldn’t be there until later, which was fine.
When I showed up, I was greeted by Shawn, who stated that the car was sold and Ellis was driving it and hadn’t shown up yet. They had my contact information, so you would of thought that they would of called me to inform me that they sold the car and prevent me from driving there for no reson, but they never did. Shawn told me that they would be having another 2011 Hyundai Elantra arriving later in the week and wrote my number down and said they would call me when it did. Being that I was curious as to what kind of condition the car was in, I went to their website later in the day and noticed that the original Hyundai I inquired about was still showing to be for sale. I then sent another email asking if the car was still available, since it was still showing on their website, but I never did get a response back. I decided that it was best that I purchase a car from another business, since I felt that I got the runaround.
Also note that both Hyundai cars they had listed on the website were the same exact model, but one had 5,000 more on it. You would think that the car with more miles on it would be slightly cheaper, but they were priced exactly the dollar amount and said that the price was as low as they could go.
Word of advice: Use caution when dealing with small used car dealerships!!!

I was looking on craigslist and found the car I really wanted for an amazing price with Central Autohaus. When I called Sonny answered and told me the car had not arrived yet but since I wanted the car so bad he would hold it and allow me to be the first to look at it.
While I was waiting for the car to come in I stopped by Courtesy Nissan and fell in love with a different car. They offered me a payment but when it got to actually doing the paperwork all of the sudden the payment jumped $ 85 because they said I had to buy all the extended warranties and insurances. I told them I was not comfortable with the payment and declined so they sent me home in the car to think about it.
In the meantime Sonny called me to tell me the car came in, I told him what was going on and he told me to come in and he would help me. When I got there he turned his computer screen to show me what they were offering and how much I was financing with Courtesy Nissan and how it was not a good deal at all. He then re-​worked the number show me the loan he got me and how much better of a situation I would be in.
Sonny was amazing at walking me throw the process of buying a car with no pressure and I am extremely thankful to him for taking care of me in the process. I will never buy a car anywhere else or from anyone else in Texas.

Very aggressive and rude salespeople. One salesperson, Shawn, was giving me BS about how he couldn’t negotiate because the specific car I was buying was marked down extremely low, I heard another salesperson in the room next to me give the exact same line.
I did buy a car and I demanded the tank be filled up (it was extremely low). After fighting with Shawn for over ten minutes about a tank of gas he finally had his porter run the car to the gas station. I thanked him and thought he really made an effort. When I got in the car I noticed the porter only put in $ 5 worth of gas.
CHEAP, AGGRESSIVE! Will never consider them again. As I was leaving Shawn told me that he gave $ 200 to anyone that brought him a buying customer. I reminded him that my dad is the one who sent me to him and he said my dad wasn’t eligable for the $ 200 since I got such a great deal (I didn’t get a great deal).
