This place is pretty bomb! I was strongly recommended to come here by my father-in-law(RIP) but never was in the area to stop by, and I wasn’t going to go out of my way to visit. Over the time I’ve heard more and more people talk about this place. I finally got the opportunity and had to come. I was not disappointed! On my first visit I tried the carne asada burrito. There was nothing to set it apart from the rest but it was good nonetheless. On my second visit I ordered the huarache with carne al pastor… Oh my goodness it was scrumptious! I usually don’t eat those so I don’t have much to compare it to, I just know my cousin and I split a second one lmao! The horchata was okay. I think I would prefer it a little sweeter. I’m looking forward to my next visit. This place is hard to find so just look for the PHARMACY sign and it’s right next door.

Amazing food. We had the tacos and the huaraches de carne asada. The salsa was delicious and my orange juice with spinach was out if this world. I also really liked the fact that the salsa was spicy and had a lot of flavor. One thing I really liked was that the frames on the wall are of their family. The restaurant has a «homey» feel to it, like I’m being invited over for dinner. Lastly, the kitchen was not a typical kitchen. It didn’t look like a commercial kitchen. They really try to make the restaurant feel like home. And that is what I got from eating at «Ojo de agua».

This place is bomb! The barbacoa is delish. I usually get the barbacoa special which comes with consome, homemade tortillas, salsas, cilantro/onion and lemons. It’s plenty of food. My mom is from Mexico City, so I grew up eating food like this especially in Mexico and Ensenada. We came across this place in Moreno Valley years ago and was told by that owner that there was a closer location to us, so we been coming here ever since. This place gets packed on the weekends and it’s tiny inside. I usually order to go. Everything I have tried has been really good. My mom, niece and sister love the menudo here. The stuffed quesadillas are yummy. I just wish they weren’t fried. Cooked on the comal is so much better.
