Spectacular. Service & food was great. Had petite sirloin & loaded potato. Could cut my steak with a butter knife. Paul was our server & I’d request him !!! Very attentive

Best wings around. Smoked that is. My ma and step dad only come here for the wings. I change it up every now and then. Great food! I love American/​traditional kind of places.
The service is always ‘ify’. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s great, and occasionally its eh. But we keep coming back, lol.
Alcoholic beverages are pretty tasty as well.
Will continue to come here. This is our Saturday night wing night kind of place!

Avoided this place since we moved here 2years ago simply bc of the Unilocal reviews… took a chance on a friend’s recommendation for wings… and EVERYTHING IS FANTASTIC! Went to the bar while waiting for a table and got to try free wings, ended up staying at the bar bc the servers were so awesome. All the food was perfect. the Brunswick stew, Cuban sandwich, pulled pork. all amazing… my new hangout for sure!

Went here for lunch today. Spilt an appatizer of pretzel bones with queso dip and an order of smoked chicken wings. Pretzel bones were an order of 4, soft with just the right amount of salt and cheese dip. Never had smoked wings before (16 for $ 15.99), was quite impressed. Nice deep smoke flavor couldn’t even bring myself to put sauce on them. Ate at the bar. Bartender was multitasking, waiting tables. making drinks and running to the back… she was working her butt off.

Stopped in for early dinner. Never eaten at this chain, but when visiting my family in Columbus they suggested the place. Fun room. Liked the atmosphere. Reasonable prices on your typical BBQ fare. Liked what I got and impressed with the sauce options. Best thing of the experience was our server, who I think his name was Tony (shaved head). He went above and beyond to tell us about specials, super friendly, accurate with our orders, and extremely attentive.

This was my first visit ever to any smokey bones location. I was unimpressed. It wasn’t terrible but it certainly wasn’t worth the money we spent. I ordered a rib combo with the brisket, Mac n cheese and a salad. The balsamic vinaigrette was better than most I’ve had. The brisket was a slab of fat with barbecue sauce and the ribs were decent. The mac n cheese was good but not worthy of being called an ultra premium side. The sauce selections at the table weren’t that great either. They all tasted just like ketchup or mustard or were too spicy.
Our server barely said three words the whole time we were there.
Overall I probably wouldn’t waste my money with a second trip

Only giving a two because what food we did get was ok! Our waitress wasn’t so great. She came to the table 4 times, once to take our drink order, then our food order and then brought our food. The fourth time was because she had to bring us food she forgot… Never again did I see her. Not even for a refill of water… My loaded fries where missing the chipotle mayo and green onion. And my husband didn’t get his onion rings. Had to complain to the manager… Didn’t leave her a tip!

Standard chain restaurant offerings. Nothing to write home about but works in a pinch.

Last two times we visited they were unable to get the food right. At least one plate was sent back 3 times on both visits.
Is there a manager in the house?
It will be a while before I venture back.

The smoked wings are the best wings in town. Service is great in non traditional dining hours.

My experience today was the worst I’ve ever received at any restaurant before. Originally sitting down at the bar there was a few customers but it took the bartender 10 mins to acknowledge me and my friend. After this we ordered food and our beer. The food was excellent but after I finish my first beverage I tried many times to get another beverage but the bartenders just ignored me. Finally after 20 mins I was able to service again. After this I put my card down with the bill and waited another 20 mins before someone would come pick up the tab. If ur wanting fast service don’t go here.

Horrible service. Waited 10 min to get a drink them getting a second drink was damn near impossible. Food was cold with very little fries with my burger. Them sat there for not a joke 20min with no drink trying to cash out. At this point all I can say is WOW!

Terrible experience here today. I’m not sure what’s going on with our waitress, but anything she could screw up, she did. It took a ridiculous amount of time for her to come and even take our order and, while doing it, she kept asking weird questions like she had no idea what was even on the menu. We came in around 4:30, so the place was pretty dead, therefore she certainly wasn’t overwhelmed. Yet, we waited and waited for our food and finally someone else brought it. Here’s where it got fun. First off, our food was just plated wrong. My sandwich was served to my daughter with her side and hers with mine. Well, not technically what I ordered since I ordered broccoli soup with my sandwich and instead got broccoli. My side salad had the onions I had asked not to have included and the lettuce was wilted and kind of gross. Our food was all cold, probably because it took so long to find its way to our table. Then, on one of the extremely rare occasions our waitress decided to come by our table and bring us drink refills, she decided I would get water with lemon, instead of the iced tea with lemon I had been drinking. I had written this place off a long time ago for exactly this type of service in the past, but recently came back for lunch only because I was with work friends and did not pick the location. At that time we had a pretty good waiter and a decent experience, so today I decided to bring my kids. I won’t be making that mistake again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I have been here a handful of times now and will definitely return. Its located on Route 256, right by highway 70.
We usually sit at the bar and order food and drinks, while watching some sporting event. The restaurant, as a whole, is very clean along with the restrooms.
I usually order the ¹⁄₃ rack of ribs, which comes with Texas toast and two sides. It really is plenty for one person and I usually can’t finish it. I have never had any issues with my orders being hot and fast… or with the drinks being cold and delicious. On my recent visit, I tried a blueberry drink that was pretty tasty! They always have new drinks on the menu, which is nice because it breaks up the monotony.
It’s easy to have a conversation, because it’s not too loud. Overall, the only downside would be it can get a little expensive if you don’t watch what you’re ordering. I look forward to returning!

My favorite place! Great food and great service! I get the salmon everytime and it’s amazing. Be sure and ask for «Reno» as your waiter. He’s awesome, you won’t be sorry!

This might be the strangest review I’ll ever write because it’s about 6oz glass, filled with ice to the brim, with a squirt of coke that I never drank, and it cost $ 2.89.
I went into Smokey Bones to have some ribs, sat at the bar and ordered a coke while I looked at the menu. As I was deciding which ribs to get I received a phone call of a pressing matter. I had not gotten a chance to order yet nor taste my coke. I flagged the waitress/​bartender down and told her I would not be able to stay. She quickly pulled the bill handed it to me… $ 2.89
Now I don’t know if it was her poor judgment to not just let it go, or she is measured by corporate and each pour is tracked somehow but in the end I just had to say, REALLY???
I’ll take a star off for each dollar, oh and I’ll be rounding up. And no, I will not be back, any place that desperate for a buck can’t be all that good.

As usual, just good food! Reasonable prices And good service. Restaurant was clean and rest room was clean. People eating seemed content. Had a great meal and check out went smoothly. Nothing fancy, but that’s what made it pleasant.

It’s been quite a long time since my last outing to this establishment. This time round, I ordered the Fire Grilled Salmon with Sweet Potato Stix and Fire Roasted Corn as my two sides.
The salmon was ok — nothing to write about. The citrus butter that came on the side was tasty. A lite lemon added to the butter. The corn had NO taste. The corn? VERY disappointing. It had absolutely no kernel taste at all. It made me think of frost burnt freezer corn that was long overdue on the «use by» date :(The Sweet Potato fries were good, from the standpoint that they had no seasoning on them. But the potato taste was not strong. The sweetness was tasty in some, but a majority of the Stix had no real taste at all.
My previous review still stands. This visit did not change my views, unfortunately.

8 wings. 2 beers. ~$ 30. Never again. This place can best be described as a bbq version of an Applebee’s. The décor is fine; your typical midwest slathering of the local college with some random wall pieces for good measure. I sat at the bar and had to uncomfortably avert my eyes from the youngest looking 18 (a guess) year old scantily dressed I’ve ever encountered. Don’t get me wrong, there were some attractive women keeping bar, as expected in such an establishment, but mgmt needs to draw the line somewhere, and they wildly missed the mark.
That aside… as I already stated, smallest order of wings, 2 beers (20 oz or so drafts) equaled $ 26 and change. Then with tip… ugh. I feel like a sucker. Largely because the beer prices aren’t listed. The wings are 6÷10… slightly above average.

They sent us a coupon for a free piece of birthday cake so of course we had to go back.
This being the location closest to home and me wanting a bedtime snack I stopped it to claim my «gift»
Service again here was horrible. the girl said I would need to buy an entrée, after telling her it doesn’t say that on the coupon she asked and the manager agreed I was right.
With that I got it to go and turns out it was pretty damn good.
Actually it was better than the birthday cake we got at Cap City Diner last week.
This one had excellent frosting in between the 6 layers and the outer frosting was finely crushed oreos, really very good as well as the vanilla ice cream.
Great bedtime snack indeed, now if only the girls working here would be a little bit more interested in being nice to their guests I’d consider eating at this location again.
