Schwan’s Ice Cream

Schawn’s Ice Cream is much more than just ice cream. It is a company that offers bi-​monthly deliveries to your door of a huge variety of wonderfully, flavor-​packed frozen foods.
You set-​up delivery to your home by calling their toll-​free number or going online.
Then, you have a very personable, courteous, delivery man or woman assigned to you who comes to your door where you can place your orders from their catalogue that they give you for that time, or you can order ahead online (at least the day before) to place your order for when the driver arrives.
Once the driver arrives, your order is retrieved from the delivery truck and you store your food in your own freezer. Sometimes, we even eat part of the food we ordered, for dinner that night.
The company sends a txt reminder the day before your scheduled delivery so that you can place your order up to 11 pm prior to your delivery date.
I have ordered at the door with the delivery person and online at least a day ahead of the scheduled delivery date so my food is already loaded on the truck. Both are equally easy.
If you will not be available (out-​of-​town, etc) on your date of delivery, or you don’t need food for that period, for whatever reason, the delivery person appreciates when we give them a «heads-​up» by texting or calling him to indicate this, but that we will see them for the next scheduled delivery.
Our driver appreciates such notices as this saves them having to stop needlessly.
You choose from an amazing variety of fresh, frozen foods, ranging from tasty appetizers, to delicious entrées, desserts, and even drinks. (See pictures)
Although the food is a little more expensive, you have the convenience of regular deliveries to help with meal planning.
