This place is a nightmare. Hiding behind a lofty career in pubic service Pohler is now preying on hardworking people that pay their bills, and she just wants gravy. They buy really old lists, cook up fake debt notices and dream up false documentation for debts that have already been paid. They ignore dispute correspondence even when sent by an attorney or a tax consultant. Don’t believe their fake paperwork or their threatening letters. Pretty office building and one paid Unilocal reviewer makes them look«legit» but they are predatory debt collectors and should be reported as such to CFPB(Consumer Financial Protection Bureau). Stay away from these people.

This place, despite being a collection agent for the State of Ohio, has always been more than fair in dealing with them. No hard pressure illegal tactics. The are more than willing to work with you, allow payments, etc. It is refreshing to work with a collection agent/entity that is not slimy, has intelligent, English speaking representatives. Antoinette has been especially pleasant to deal with. By the by, I’m not a «paid reviewer» as the one person suggested. My long list of reviews, some good/some bad is more than enough proof. Sounds like sour grapes for someone not willing to pay an owed debt. This place works for and with the State. If they were in fact doing anything deceptive, I’m sure the AG’s office would be all over them like a cheap suit. Lol, just pay your debts and you won’t have to deal with them. I didn’t and had to. Lesson learned.
