Sage Day Spa

My little sister and I went to Sage earlier this week, and the service was absolutely fabulous. This little gem feels like the kind of upscale Day Spa you would find in a big city, with an assortment of complementary beverages, snacks, and lavender neck warmers. The ambiance is calming and friendly, with kind staffers who exude warmth and skill.
Yes, Rexburgites, the price is a bit higher than you would find in a basic salon, but the quality is amazing. Plus, it’s owned and operated by Rexburg natives. Check out the Sage Signature Pedicure for a mini-​vacation and pamperd feet. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Had a very relaxing and fabulous time getting a massage. Everyone was very friendly and really want to make you feel pampered!

Kassidy took care of me over the phone to book a spontaneous spa day for myself while on vacation.
Brittney brought me the drink of the day which is the coconut lemonade as well as a warm neck wrap. She did an express manicure (I chose no polish, only buff to a shine) and a spa pedicure (I chose a French pedi). The pedicure was amazing! Brittney was very caring and a perfectionist, making sure I was totally comfortable.
Brittney and Kassidy were super helpful in ordering lunch to be delivered to the spa for me. Kassidy walked me to my locker to change into my robe. The locker had my name printed on the name label. WOW. The robe is like a thick fuzzy hug and they have a large hair wrap that keeps your hair out of the way during your massage. Kassidy ordered me the food using my credit card from their house phone. Brittney set up a small table for my lunch. My food arrived after 10 minutes or less. Looking forward to the rest of my services here today! I will update this post later. So far from my first impression I can say that this spa is the most customer service oriented spa that I have ever been to. I go to the spa at least once a month and I tend to go high-​end when I do so I am extremely picky. Thank you so much to Brittney and Kassidy for making the first part of my spa day unforgettable!
It is 9:21pm right now. I was at Sage Day Spa from 12pm until 6pm and I’m still floating on a cloud right now!!!
After lunch I had a 90 minute Sage Signature Massage and an Aroma Steam Body Polish with Rhyannon. The rooms were a little chilly but the massage and body polish were really good. I only fall asleep if the massage therapist is excellent so thank you to Rhyannon for getting me to la la land. I have never been in a steam tent before but loved how comfortable it was. Imagine having a salt glow in a steam sauna but with your head outside so you can breath. You are lying down on a comfortable massage table with your head outside of the hot steam tent. It is brilliant! Rhyannon did a fantastic job describing what she was going to do to me before each treatment so I knew what to mentally expect and she massaged my head while I laid under the steam tent. After taking a shower I laid back down on a dry and clean massage table to have a delicious smelling cream spread all over my body to lock in the moisture. My skin is so soft and I am so super relaxed.
It is only so often us moms get a day off to pamper ourselves and you all made me feel like a queen. Thank you to everyone at Sage who took care of me today!

My go to place for regular massages! Jackie B is an excellent massage therapist and gets deep for relief of tension. Front staff is also friendly and welcoming. Have also had facial and pedicures here over the years. Clean, relaxing, and inviting place!

Stopped in for a last minute pedicure in this sweet cozy spa. Had my toes painted Dodger blue which is not an easy color to do but Brittney did an exceptional job! I highly recommend this place!

I went here to get my nails done and the service was terrible. They had me wait 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment and just left me in a back room. When I tried to find someone to tell them I had somewhere to be after, nobody was around. When I finally did get my nails done they did not even know how to do any designs.
If you want to go somewhere for experience and not service then go here. The price is not worth the service they give.

The girl who did my massage was a chatter box so the next time I asked for the male massage therapist and he was much better. The facial I had was bad. The girl stopped in the middle to answer her cell phone and she talked for longer than i would have thought was appropriate. I was shocked at this but I was there because someone got me a gift certificate. After the cell phone call, she seemed to rush me out of there, or maybe this was just in my head? Who knows, but it was ruined.
They treat you very nicely and it’s clean but the service could be better.

I had my eyebrows waxed here– and it was REALLY bad. The girl went over the same spot more than once, making me bleed so much. She tries telling me this is normal and gives me some lotion to put on it… this was over a year ago. I still have a scar, and my doctor said it will never heal completely.
When I complained to them all they said was that they’d make a note in their computer that I had sensitive skin… ridiculous. DO NOT go here.
